Charcoal Pancake = RM1.20 each No Service Charge
This is a Michelin Bib Gourmand Food Stall.
Important Note: Despite being a Michelin Stall, amusingly I had difficulties hailing Grab when I wanted to leave this place. At least 2 Grab Drivers didn't even know how to come here before I had to Cancel. Maybe its because this Food Stall is located near a Roundabout Road and these Drivers just can't be bothered to stop there? Who knows.
Anyway this was just a Really Small Roadside Food Cart as you can see in the Picture. Its run by what looks like a Pair of Middle Aged Couple. Very Friendly and Hardworking Folks. There were No Queues when I was there on a Thursday Afternoon at around 12.30pm
Charcoal Pancake = RM1.20 each
This is basically Min Jiang Kueh 面煎粿 and they only have 1 Standard Peanut Flavour, and nothing else. Its Freshly Made on the Spot so its Piping Fresh and Hot when served up. Because its Freshly Hot, the Outer Skin is Super Crispy with a Delightful Crunch.
What I especially noticed and perhaps you can also see in the Photo is that the Inner Kueh Area is Thick and I feel is a Tad Thicker than other Min Jiang Kuehs I've eaten. Its Thick, Very Very Chewy with a Niam Niam Bite Texture. I'd even describe this as tasting almost Gummy.
The Fillings are made out of Standard Sugar and Peanuts and they actually aren't alot. This is not the Super Full Gao Gao Peanuts type. Because of this, I feel this is Considerably Less Sweeter than Most Min Jiang Kuehs we have in Singapore.
Conclusion and Closing Thoughts
At the Price of RM1.20 (S$0.40) for a Piece of this Michelin Rated Thick Min Jiang Kueh, it is certainly worth the money to try. I think this may be the Most Affordable Michelin Dish I've ever eaten so far.
The Min Jiang Kueh itself does taste nice, especially when you get them Freshly Made and Piping Hot like this. Slightly Different compared to our Singapore Version as this has a More Chewy Niam Niam Texture.
Having said that, you also need to have Realistic Expectations about this. In the end, this is still a Regular Min Jing Kueh, not some Mind Blowing Life Altering Die Die Must Eat type of Food.
I can recommend this to give it a try if you have a Craving for this but it is definitely not worth to queue up for. Do take note if you want to take Grab away from here though. Hahaha, I hope you have better luck than I did.

Read moreGood food shouldn’t be the sole domain of fine dining. Take this humble Ban Chien Kuih (慢煎粿) for example - a beloved street snack that’s earned Bib Gourmand honours two years running. With just three time-honoured ingredients - wheat flour batter, ground peanuts, and white sugar - it stands firm against the tide of trendy toppings and reinventions. No frills, no fuss. Just warm, golden comfort folded in half, crisp at the edges and soft at the heart @ an incredible RM1.20/pc. May it never fade from...

This is definitely one of the better BCK around. I love it. Fragrant, excellent skin crunch, just sweet enough to taste good without being cloyingly sweet.
They are also friendly and the Q is very controlled. Needless to say, this needs to be eaten as soon as you can while it's still hot. Once it's cooled, it can get a little rubbery. But nothing a short time in the...
