This roadside eatery left much to be desired. While the prices of RM10 for the Wat Dan Hor and RM12 for the XO Fried Rice might seem reasonable at first glance, they unfortunately reflect city prices without delivering on quality. The Wat Dan Hor was particularly disappointing. I couldn't even finish it. The noodles overwhelmed the meager amount of ingredients, and the sauce itself was incredibly bland. It lacked any depth of flavor, making each bite a monotonous chore. The fried rice was OK with alot more ingredients and considerably amount of wok hei. Can't believe I'm saying this but the highlight was the coffee and milo but that isn't saying a lot as well. Considering the underwhelming quality of the ingredients and the tastelessness of the dishes, I'd strongly advise against wasting your time here. There are likely better options available that offer more value for your money.

Came for lunch cause not much options around island. Boss was friendly and plenty of variety. Food taste was alright, nothing out of this world, not bad tasting either Their 1 person portion of lala meehoon was considered big. Lala wasn't that fresh tho. Luckily they had fresh cockles so had that as well. It was definitely fresh and juicy so it was only boiled. Tried the egg oyster as well. This one can skip as there was more egg and flour than oyster. Size of oyster also questionable. Bill came to 50+, not too bad like some mentioned but not expensive either. I guess many just looking for the small town pricing which ain't easy to find anymore.

Not too many breakfast choices around and this was the first shop we found while walking around. Fried seafood noodles (dry style), seafood curry noodles and fried rice was good. There were kid friendly menu like half-boiled eggs, toast bread with butter and kaya as well.

We stopped by for a late lunch as it was walking distance from our homestay. Definitely a huge mistake. The food took 30 minutes to come out of the kitchen and once it did the staff just placed everything at a point that is closer to her rather than serving what we ordered. And the final disappointment came when we tasted the food. The fried rice wasn't seasoned at all. The noodles were bland and the soy sauce they served looks like it was watered down. Never going back here again. The price is not reasonable at all.

I am writing this in hopes that other people don't get cheated...
