Curry crab - tasted funny. It tasted sweet instead of to be spicy.
Teo chew style steam fish - flesh of fish became dry due to the way they placed the fish upright. Taste of broth is okay.
Shrimp in oats - okay
Came during peak season. Though the restaurant has more than 10 tables but the speed to cope with the waiting customers is in doubt. They serve table by table. Obviously there's only one chef in the kitchen which is going in sequence. There were 8 tables ahead of us when we arrived and it took us 1 hour 45 mins waiting time. Went there for dinner and had Kham Heong Clams, Wine Prawn, salted egg yolk squid, two rice and two iced Chinese tea and paid 89 RM (July 2023).
A special recommendation: You MUST try the salted egg yolk dish. They serve this for shrimp, squid and manti - and it was absolutely awesome. It was the first time we’ve ever tried this - and it was a great experience.
The owner is very nice and well speaking English. The food was served quite fast - however, there weren’t many guests around.
So all in all, definitely recommended, as price/value wise a very...
