Food is alright, lala soup was fresh and surprisingly good. The scallop was small but fresh, sauce was tasty. Salted egg mantis prawn, had good batter, may have been double fried to make it crispy but some prawn pieces not fresh as soft texture when chewed on, instead of chewey. Its different style than the usual. Its only 2 men waiters so I can see how it may be slow during rush hour. Pricing is on the higher side for the size of food served. Would have expected cheaper or for larger portions. Pricing is comparable to large towns/cities at current portion/size. Use serving spoon for size comparison

Great, great seafood restaurant. Went there for dinner and had Kham Heong Clams, Wine Prawn, salted egg yolk squid, two rice and two iced Chinese tea and paid 89 RM (July 2023). A special recommendation: You MUST try the salted egg yolk dish. They serve this for shrimp, squid and manti - and it was absolutely awesome. It was the first time we’ve ever tried this - and it was a great experience. The owner is very nice and well speaking English. The food was served quite fast - however, there weren’t many guests around. So all in all, definitely recommended, as price/value wise a very good choice.

I have to say, the food here is good, but the service was incredibly disappointing. I asked for a spoon and some chili, and despite reminding the staff multiple times, it only arrived when we were nearly done with our meal. The staff could see we were waiting, but their attitude is worse and even the boss’s attitude was awful. It’s frustrating because, no matter how good the food is, bad service like this makes it really hard to enjoy the meal. If you’re thinking of going, just be prepared to wait a long time for even the simplest requests.

Curry crab - tasted funny. It tasted sweet instead of to be spicy.

Teo chew style steam fish - flesh of fish became dry due to the way they placed the fish upright. Taste of broth is okay.

Shrimp in oats - okay

Came during peak season. Though the restaurant has more than 10 tables but the speed to cope with the waiting customers is in doubt. They serve table by table. Obviously there's only one chef in the kitchen which is going in sequence. There were 8 tables ahead of us when we arrived and it took us 1 hour 45 mins waiting time. We noticed the restaurant owner gave another table who is gangster alike to cut queue as well. Other customer went on to question him but his only answer is they made a reservation. Hello! You told us no reservation allowed during peak season that's...
