I’m assigning an overall 4 stars to the coffee shop as a whole as the handful of stalls that I patronise make up for the several others that I don’t fancy. The outstanding stalls that get my 5-stars are: (1) the coffee shop’s coffee and other drinks in general (2) fried kuey teow stall - all the rich aroma & taste that a wok-fried kuey teow should have without swimming in oil. Prawns are really fresh and, most refreshing of all, the noodles are rarely ever or never charred, unlike most other places in Ipoh. (3) roast pork stall - a bit of a local legend, this stall, serving really juicy cuts of roast pork for just the precious few hours everyday. (4) the one and only mamak stall that operates in the daytime, I rather like their fried mee and especially their mamak style rojak (i.e. pasembur). (Caveat: I haven’t had pasembur in decades so my opinion may not be well judged.) Read moreCorrect me if I'm not mistaken, when any Chinese restaurant or coffee shop set up for sure their drink menu will 100% have Chinese tea either by individual glass of Chinese tea or pot of Chinese tea either individual or group right? Well this is or could be the only Chinese coffee shop don't want to sell or even thinking of selling Chinese tea and they prefer customers to choose their menu all sorts of sweet drinks or dessert and if no choice just a plain glass of water. Really pathetic coffee shop in the whole of ipoh and if they have choices of good food won't go there unless the whole of ipoh coffee shops is closed on that day and need to have my breakfast then no choice but to eat there but sorry no...

I went for dinner there and these are the stalls selling satay , mee mamak goreng , western food , chicken rice , malay nasi lemak , fried chicken , fried mee and rice , wan tan mee , Hakka mee , rojak and fruit stall . Food rating : 8/10 Cleanliness : 8/10 Services : 8/10 Food varieties: 8/10 They close at 9pm but most of the time most food sold out by 8pm . So try to go early .
