It had an open-concept layout that combined a comfortable living area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a cozy dining nook. The kitchen had all the essentials—fridge, stove, microwave, and even a washing machine, making it perfect for longer stays. The living room had a large flat-screen TV and comfy seating, creating a great space for relaxation. The bedroom was cozy with a large, comfortable bed, and the bathroom had a clean, modern feel with a spacious shower and high-quality amenities. The air conditioning was a lifesaver, especially with Ipoh’s warm weather.Service:While staying at The Cove Hillside, I felt like I had the best of both worlds—privacy and comfort, but with access to excellent service. The staff was incredibly friendly, offering quick check-in/check-out and always willing to help with any requests. Housekeeping was efficient, keeping the apartment spotless during my stay. They also provided helpful information on local attractions, making it easy to explore the area.Amenities:One of the standout features of The Cove Hillside is the range of amenities. The infinity pool is absolutely breathtaking, offering sweeping views of the surrounding hills. It’s the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day of sightseeing. I booked this unit at Ipoh Cove through Booking.com for RM750/night and it was a very disappointing experience. The place is extremely basic and not worth the price at all. Only the swimming pool is nice. • Kitchen was poorly equipped: no cutleries, no dish drainer, no proper trash bin (I had to use a tiny bathroom bin instead). The cloth provided was dirty and unhygienic, owner promised to replace but never did. Sink sumbat and owner asked us to manually massage the pipe underneath to make the water flow everytime used the sink. No hand soap provided. They only provide body wash. . Only 1 key and 1 access card provided . Only 1 parking available, if you come with family, the others must parking outside of guardhouse and need to walk distances. • The bedroom only had 2 old, uncomfortable pillows with no extra pillows or mattress provided. • Balcony area was dirty and had worms. • Overall cleanliness was very poor, making it uncomfortable to stay.

On top of that, the owner contacted me via WhatsApp to request RM200 deposit before check in. For the price charged, the condition and facilities are far below expectation. Definitely not recommended and I...

The surrounding environment is beautiful, but once you step into the house, everything is dirty and dusty. There were chocolate stains on the carpet that hadn’t been cleaned. The toilet looked like it hadn’t been washed in hundreds of years — it was terribly yellow, and the water wouldn’t drain properly during showers.
