This vegetarian restaurant that offers a variety of dishes. Upon entering the restaurant, they provided a complimentary dried apple snack for guests to enjoy, which was a nice touch. We ordered a pizza, a burger, a pasta, and a curry rice. The taste was quite mild, likely because it’s vegetarian. Honestly, compared to meat dishes, it’s surprising how expensive vegetarian food can be nowadays. This meal wasn’t cheap at all. The environment was nice and quiet, with some pleasant music playing. The service was decent, and the ingredients were quite fresh. The ambiance makes it a great place to chat with friends. For someone like me, who enjoys eating meat, a vegetarian meal is more of a way to cleanse the palate and lighten the load on the stomach. However, for true vegetarians, they would probably really enjoy this place. So, I didn’t find the food particularly delicious, but that’s just because I prefer meat. I guess I just don’t have a strong appreciation for vegetarian cuisine....
Read moreV-tarians take note. This is the fine dining experience that "V" Ipohites have been craving for all these years. Meat free themed cafe restaurant. The decor and atmosphere has that woody and green concept that all the gogo-green v-tarians will be familiar with but V-Life has taken it a few steps higher. Staff are courteous and helpful. They had menu knowledge and assisted in my menu selection. 👍 Food and drinks looks delectable. Tried a few dishes and many more to go. Food is good and expected of a classy cafe restaurant like this. Do keep the taste at this level or higher going into the future. For those interested, beers and soju are on the menu 😁. Not sure how that works but it is for my readers to reflect on. A little bit pricey for Ipoh standards but it is reasonable considering the whole package.. Location is just of the main road and easily found. Overall a good place to come and sample the healthy meat free food in style and in a new comfortable...
Read moreThe restaurant is located in Taman Perak's shop houses. The deco definitely attracts young adult's attention and it's café design. I like the wall display where they grow their own lettuce!
It's not completely vegan as eggs are available as part of the menu. My impression is that there are more Western options like pasta, burger salads than the Asian food option. Tried the mapo tofu, the sauce is too salty for my taste, but I like the tofu.
Upon seated, if you are first time customer, they will prompt you to sign up to be offered dried apple snacks and vegetarian tuna on seaweed. You can opt out, of course. They sell the vegetarian tuna product.
I highly recommend the dessert Berry Genmaicha burnt cheesecake. Their tea options are quite creative, like early grey plus orange.
Will definitely revisit here to try other menu options. The price is on the higher range in Ipoh, but standard KL cafe dining...
