Mr Bamboo Dim Sum & Nasi Lemak — Restaurant in Perak

Strangest restaurant that does not serve sambal with their nasi lemak with chicken rendang dish. I mean, what F&B outlet does not serve sambal with nasi lemak. It's part of the holy trinity of the dish. When we asked the waitress for it, she said they don't give sambal for this particular nasi lemak with rendang. The other kinds of nasi lemak; no issue. Absolutely laughable and ridiculous.

Their HK chee cheong fun wasn't so great either. Not as smooth and breaks apart easily.

Their fried radish cake was good though. Probably the only saving grace here I guess.

Prefer your nasi lemak with rendang with no sambal? Come...

Food does not taste very good compared to other places such as canning dimsum ,hibiscus dimsum, greentown dimsum. Quite dissapointed actually with the taste. Adding to my dissapointment is no halal cert ( claim that in process of applying) upon asking. I dont know why buy im quite skeptical hence i only ordered seafood based dimsum, radish cake and avoid all other chicken based meals.. if you guys are confident, go ahead, but for me pork free restaurants nowadays are not...

Lunch at this restaurant before driving back to KL. The food is really delicious. Please try the shrimp cheong fun. Waiter was very attentive, thumbs up for that. Should've discovered this restaurant earlier. We only tried it on our 4th day in Ipoh. Keep up the good work. Love the food variety and...
