Welcome to the future, where cafés have decided that humans are completely unnecessary — except, of course, to sit around awkwardly while robots do the heavy lifting. This place is 100% non-human interaction. No physical menu, no friendly staff suggestions. Just you, a QR code, and a gamble that the food photo you tapped on actually looks like what will arrive.
We went with the sweet and sour chicken chop rice because, well, the picture looked decent. Credit where it’s due: the chicken was crispy outside, juicy inside, and the coleslaw was fresh. Not bad. The mushroom soup, however, tasted suspiciously like it took a shortcut from a can. But hey, points for presentation! They tried to glam it up with three types of toasted bread on the side, because apparently carbs fix everything.
The drinks were… an adventure. The sparkling raspberry malt was surprisingly refreshing, but the ice lemonade? Let’s just say if you’ve ever accidentally splashed dishwashing liquid in your mouth, you already know the flavor profile.
Now, here’s the fun part: our food was delivered by a robot waiter. Impressive, right? Except there were plenty of human waiters standing around, doing what looked like an advanced course in “observing robots at work.” Asking for extra cutlery was obviously too complicated for both species, so we made do.
To be fair, the ambience was fantastic. Warm hanging lights in dangling net baskets, beautifully decorated interiors, and smooth jazz in the background, the kind of vibe that makes you want to sip wine and have deep conversations… except you can’t even ask what the chef recommends, because the QR code doesn’t bother with details like that.
And don’t forget: you must pay online before you even hit the order button. No refunds, no changes, just pure commitment to your blind QR menu romance.
So, final verdict? The food had its moments, but the whole experience felt less like dining in a café and more like beta-testing a restaurant in the...

Nifayyi Warung & Cafe offers a lovely mix of local and Western dishes that are sure to please. Here’s a simple review of some of their best dishes:
Nifayyi Special Fried Rice: This dish is a pleasant surprise reminding me of paella due to the type of rice they use. It has a unique taste and includes prawns sambal and chicken skewers with some veggies. It's very tasty and different.
Grill Chicken Chop: Perfectly cooked to be tender and juicy the Grill Chicken Chop is a highlight. The black pepper sauce is spot on and the side dish is really good. The portions are generous.
Grill Lamb Shoulder with Rosemary Blackpepper: This dish is a feast with a portion size large enough to share. The lamb shoulder is tender and flavourful with the rosemary black pepper sauce pairing beautifully. The mint sauce adds a unique touch making a great combo with the lamb.
Cream of Fresh Mushroom Soup with Bread: The mushroom soup is creamy and rich full of fresh mushroom flavour. It comes with three different slices of bread making for a hearty and comforting starter. The portions are generous here as well.
Spaghetti Aglio Olio Beef Bacon: This dish stands out with a delightful touch of spiciness. The spaghetti is cooked just right and the beef bacon adds a savoury depth making each bite enjoyable. It's a well-balanced and satisfying pasta dish.
Spaghetti Ebiko & Beef Carbonara: For those who love creamy pastas the Spaghetti Ebiko & Beef Carbonara is perfect. The ebiko adds a slight crunch and a hint of briny flavour that goes well with the rich creamy sauce. Each bite is indulgent and full of flavour.

Read moreI came there on Friday 1/11/24 Food was mediocre but the experienced I had with the staff was quite bad. Was waiting outside, then they let us family of 3 come in. Asked us to go to second floor, no table is ready yet.. they are in the middle of cleaning it.. we said it’s okay you clean first while we wait. There are two table available but both are for 6 pax. So we wait for either one. Once we are seated, no staff came to give menu or anything. I called them to ask where can I order, then they print out a qr code to order. from what i have seen with other customer, the qr is ready on the table before they are seated. Then i request to change table to a 4 pax one when i saw its vacant and cleaned. So they can accommodate the table we are sitting to another family. Once I placed the order, i made payment online and forgot to remarks the sambal to be separated not on top of the fish. My mom called the staff to request, then the staff was saying she will check but scared the kitchen already prepared. But that was just few second after i placed the order. Next one, for chicken menu, I already make remarks for it to be chicken breast as my mom does not eat drumstick. But the waiter then came saying we only have drumstick in our cafe.. then my mom want to change to a different menu other than chicken as she cannot eat the drumstick. Then the staff was kinda annoyed with the request and said “kan dlm gmbr tu paha” .. that ment was like she blaming it on us for it. Luckily we can change to fish menu, but it was cheaper than the chicken but i already paid. But nothing was made to reconfirm or refund about my...
