NPF Bali Villa . NPF Villa — Hotel in Perak

Paid thru Agoda to stay for a night. The place is quaint and clean... ||Now for the bad part of this place...|To enter the premise there is a gate, and i had wait quite a while for it to open. I tried calling the number on the gate but to no avail. ||Next they ask me to pay for a deposit of RM150. Hmmm ok no problem. ||Come next day when i wanted to check out, there's no one around at the desk. I tried calling the number for nearly an hour... no one answered. I went to my car and honk the horn for 10 mins... no one came! I need to to rush for a meeting and this is delaying me! If there's no deposit of RM150, i would have left the keys and drive off the place... there would be no complains from me. ||At last someone return my call after nearly an hour. I told him about the wait and i wanted to check out plus my deposit with an annoying voice.||Suddenly a garderner came and assist me to check out and gave my deposit. The manager didn't have the courtesy to face me. He sent his garderner!!! ||I know this is a 5 room set up so no use to hire a receptionist, but just answer the call to avoid all of this. You the one who put up all the signs stating "please call this number for assistance". ||Or operate as airbnb... no deposit needed... so that i can checkout or...

This is a bungalow. We got the 4 pax family room which actually fits 5 comfortably if you asks for another bed. ||Room:|Has a large and very clean balcony, which is hard to achieve for an outdoor space, so good job!|Even with four in the room, it's comfortable|Bathroom is large with a larger-than-usual tub and two sinks and separate shower. The bathroom has a small TV.|Room TV is also huge!||Common Areas|Ample and spacious with nice living areas, bar area, piano, dining area|Upstairs there's another sitting area outside of the rooms||Garden|Very pleasant with a fountain |Peaceful|Cat on premise||Downside|Next to main road, so you can hear the traffic outside. Bring earplugs and eyeshadow, and it should be much better. I always travel with these so I had no problems but others find it noisy|I don't know if it's a particularly hot day but the aircon is not as cold as I would like it to be|Curtains are dusty - normally that's fine as one hardly touch these but for children who links to play hide and seek, that's not a good thing. Aesthetic is 5/10 but that's why it's a value buy.||This place is well maintained, and well thought out; things like hooks where they should be, side table necessary for before sleep items, nooks for convenient usage are all...

Nicely decorated / clean hideout in Ipoh, and not too far from the main Ipoh eateries. Booked the family room, which was basically two adjoining rooms with only one bathroom. Front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful. However, the place is very understaffed, so during our visit over a long weekend, our check-in time is supposed to be 3pm, we arrived at 5+pm and expected to enter our rooms immediately, but had to wait in the living area and could only get to our rooms around 7pm as only one person was working that day and he did not have time to clean our rooms before we checked in. Furthermore, when we asked for a slightly later check out the next day since we had to wait to get into our rooms during checkin (the checkout time is supposed to be noon but we asked to extend it to checkout by 2pm), the owner said they would have to charge for the extended checkout time initially, but finally let us checkout by 1.30pm.
