Location is fine but petty hosts made our stay a very disappointing experience. Avoid JomStay management.

*Edits to original review I don't typically leave reviews but felt compelled to share my experience, with more details added below and hope it will be helpful to others to judge for themselves.

They require screenshots of every guest's mysejahtera check-in page (not a negative, but surprised us) The hosts did not have the place ready at 3pm which is their advertised, standard check in time When we arrived at 3pm, we had not yet received final instructions for check in (we were assured the prior day that we'd get it by noon) The cleaners were still cleaning past 3pm, and laughed at us when we asked if we could check in Direct quote from my WhatsApp conversation with one of the hosts after check out "Thanks for your responsible stay . Looking forward to host you guys again ."

We chose Gino’s house because a friend lives in the neighbourhood so it was perfect for her to visit & take us around.

This ground floor house is an immediate hit because my partner requires a wheelchair friendly home.

An absolutely spotless house, with extra space in each room if there were to be more guests. But for the 2 of us who prioritise privacy and solitude, this was heaven.

To top it off, the neighbourhood is quiet, with a small, simple yet peaceful park in front. Made us sad to have to return to KL city life when it was time to leave.

I am so grateful for the late night rescue when I had trouble figuring out the smart lock. Thankfully my texts were answered quickly. Then when we requested a later checkout, the instructions were very...

Try being honest to future guests. You are the sad example of a human being. To anyone looking, look elsewhere or you might be abused as we were.

  1. Location not ready as contracted
  2. Dirty and unkept
  3. rains in the kitchen when raining outside
  4. staff will be disrespectful to elders
  5. management will be disrespectful to you if you tell the truth
