Visited this place after hearing about their buns and coffee. The coffee and buns were indeed very good—fresh, soft, and flavourful. However, that’s where the positives end.
Tried their curry noodles and found them disappointing. The dry version was overwhelmingly salty, and the soup version was watery, diluted, and oddly sweet. For a shop that claims to serve Hainanese classics, the noodle quality was underwhelming.
What shocked me the most, however, was the attitude of the staff. The coffee lady was unnecessarily rude, and the owner made openly racist remarks in front of two young customers. It was horrifying, unacceptable, and left a terrible impression. It’s no surprise that this kind of toxic behaviour is reflected in their food quality.
I came for comfort food, but left deeply uncomfortable....
