Ipoh Zing Vale — Hotel in Perak

Stylish & Comfortable Stay, But Check-in Needs Improvement ⭐⭐⭐⭐½

The check-in process was a bit troublesome. The owner didn’t inform us that it was self-check-in, so we had to search for their contact number and message them on WhatsApp to get the passcode. It would be much more convenient if clear instructions were provided beforehand.

The location is easy to find via Google Maps, but the building doesn’t look like a typical hotel, so it was a bit hard to detect at first. There’s no lift, but luckily, our room was on the 1st floor, so it wasn’t a big issue.

Once inside, the room was very clean, stylish, and modern. It had a TV with Netflix, a mini fridge, a coffee machine, a kettle, and even a mosquito repellent. The toilet was also clean and well-equipped with a water heater, four toothbrushes, soap, and shampoo.

Some highlights: ✔️ Big mirror—perfect for getting ready ✔️ Enough hangers & towels for convenience ✔️ Super comfy leather sofa—one of my favorite parts of the room!

The only downside (besides check-in) was that the door lock needed repairs, as it felt like it was nearly broken.

Overall, a great place to stay, just needs better check-in instructions and a small fix for the door lock....

Nice and comfortable room,love the decoration, host very fast response and easy instruction for check in even u arrive late at night it's no big deal as it is self check in. At first when i was informed that the room i booked got problem with airconditioner and was afraid that i have to cancel the booking but yet the host gave us a much better family suite which cost more but was told that i don't need to add up some more money..great..thank you so much👍

But for those with wheelchair and old folks maybe not recommended to stay here as it is a shop lot accomodations with stairs to climb up...no lift. overall this place...

A little treasure in the middle of local life. Only a short way out of ipoh centre, we ready walked or got a grab when tired. The host was delightful, met us because I didn't get data to check details of self checkin. We had the family space which was stunningly decorated with details for relaxation, italian coffee machine, cafe music ... there's also a couples option to book. The area had many fantastic local eateries which we loved. So happy we made...
