*** Google's Reviews Helped me find this Gem, so I'm helping you : ) *** Visited 9 Nov 24 - 3 pax - RM70+ Finding it ~ It was easy via WAZE and a huge signage by the road with plenty of parking around, especially opposite the restaurant. Ambience ~ Huge dining areas with outdoor (Fans) and indoor air-conditioning. Typical Hongkong TimSum Restaurant style. Lots of service staff, and they are waiting to serve you right at the door. Very busy place and the food-vibe and happy customers is very apparent. Service ~ Once seated, someone will take your order for drinks and different service staff with different trays of food will keep rotating among the tables for your selection. Typical Timsum style. We had a variety of Tim Sum dishes and really worth a detour-stop as I was driving home from Penang back to Singapore. 9/10. Clean environment and Tasty food. Price ~ I think is reasonable and fairly priced. 3 Pax RM$70++. Will I visit again ~ Of course I will!! Is one of those rare Tim Sum places that starts at 630am....my ideal time for BF. The photos only shows 50% of what I ate as I was too busy eating with no time for photo-taking. The Charsiew Pao is a MUST!!

my guide for yours to how to choose the dim sum is like mine formula: 1. Everyone on the table picks 2 different kinds of dimsum in the first round. 2. Do remember they will have the server push the other kind of dimsum like the fried series that walk to you with a big tray. 3. You may choose one "Big Bao" and share it with 3 or 4 people, ask them to cut it for you. It is quite huge. And you may want to try every single dimsum from their menu in small bites and quantities. What said 66 kinds of dimsum is what they have. 4. Just don't repeat the order , so you may max out to have as much as different dimsum on the table. Don't forget to capture one photo before you conquer this dim sum experiment. 5. Don't miss out on the scallops dim sum (with the spoon) 👍👍👍 my recommendation for yours people. 6. Get one pot of Tie Guan Yin tea to balance out your tastes of tongue. You have every sip of tea when you bite one another dim sum .

Always wanted to try dimsum here for breakfast in Ipoh and happen to find this place with such high reviews in Google Good queueing system, able to accomodate our request to sit inside even though we are just 2 pax I can understand why such many high reviews are given due to the affordability and size of the dimsum, better to come here as a group of 4 pax and above in order to try more variety of dim sum My dimsum benchmark would be the siew mai but it didn't manage to capture my heart, below average for me as there are better one out there Highlight for me would be the "wu kok" which the young employees recommended me to try and customise only 1 portion for me as usually it served in 2 biji. Very nice and flavorful pork fillings. Another highlight would be the egg tart which smell fragrant of butter and taste nice as well, it remind me of the taste of 0riental Kopitiam. Overall is not too bad but I believe there are some local hidden gem dimsum store that can do better than this ;) feel free to give it a try!

Overall I had a pleasant dining experience at the restaurant. The food is delicious, with the shrimp dumpling, steamed rice roll, fish ball, fried shrimp roll being the highlights for me. Ample parking is also available behind the restaurant. As of the misses, I felt that the restaurant is very crowded if you are seated indoors. There aren’t much space in between tables, making the dining experience a little less comfortable. They should also disallow people from parking at the drop off point, such that customers can drop off old folks or young kids during rainy days. The fried carrot cake is more on the sweet side, the eggs and bean sprout are more than the actual carrot cake. I would come back again to try some of their other dim sums, but I would prefer to sit at the outdoor dining section next time.

I was attracted by the good ratings but it was overrated. The place is attached to the hotel and it was small. Crowded during lunch and we had to share a table with another customer. I was surprised that the menu was limited. Ordered some must have dim sum. The har gow (steamed prawn dumplings) was fresh but skin too thick and dry. Siu mai (pork dumpling) was good. Portuguese egg tarts and yam puff can be crispier. Need a better food warmer, I guess. The fried radish cake was tasty but radish cubes too mushy. Chee cheong fun came in 2 separate plates because we wanted char siu mixed with prawns which they do not have. Both were above average. Prawns were fresh. Service was fast and great. They shared washrooms with the hotel, which were poorly maintained and bad ventilation. We left with disappointment.

It is certainly not the best dim sum restaurant but it absolutely deserves a notable shoutout for its outstanding 叉烧包 with generous filling of cha siu. While other dim sum restaurants often backfire in their 'souless' and 'stingy' bbq sauce, the 叉烧包 here is like no other, giving your taste buds a galvanic kick. Siu mai and gao are generally considered okay, just a bit too moist. However, the liu sha bao is just sorry to say blatantly awful. The salted egg lava was watery,so much so that the lava separate into two distinguishable water and oil layers after left on the table for a while. Staffs are friendly and enthusiastic. The moment you have your seat, they will start to bombard you by bringing up with a variety of steamed and fried dimsums. Just restrain the urge of ordering too much stuff at once🤣.
