We visited as a pair and ordered the one portion of claypot BKT and a steamed fish. The BKT was lighter than usual, with a clear herbal broth instead of the typical heavy, meaty taste, I really enjoyed it. Just a note: they add a lot of coriander, so ask them to skip it if you’re not a fan (I personally liked the extra flavor). The steamed fish was a good pick too. Since we don’t eat fish head, the young man recommended a fresh body portion, and it was tender and paired well with the BKT. The place has an open layout but stays cool and comfortable with the air conditioning even on hot days. It’s a good spot if you’re looking for something a bit different.

Light soup, cilantro in soup ads refreshing flavour. Asked for lean meat and ribs. Lean meat is cooked soft, pleasant surprise. Additional bowl of cilantro in bkt soup is highlight of the meal. Not a fan of the youtiao it’s too doughy so it’s too filling. Stir fry cabbage is full of dried shrimps, portion seems like for 4 pax. IMO bit pricey

All time favorite bakuteh. Clear soup with infused herbs and spices. The succulent pork ribs and karubi is to die for! Crispy yao char guai, what more you could ask for! Stir fried fish head is the best I ever eaten, if one likes bitter gourd please get the chef to add some to it. Also, the clams are not to be missed, savory and sweet!

First time to this branch . Used to go to their other branches but no lala in that place . Boss is friendly . Ordered my fav fried lala , fried fish head , salted veg n bakuteh soup with soft bone) Food is nice but must order min order even for 2 pax n the portion is too big for 2 pax but no choice . Tapau the pork trotter n reached home found that only few pieces n cost RM39.00 (could be pork price increase). Our total bill inclusive of the tapau for 2 pax with a glass of Chinese tea - RM118.50. Food is nice n we tapau the fish head (almost 1/2 plate couldn’t finish) , salted veg also couldn’t finish n tapau . Lala v big plate n just tried to finish it . Will go if we have 3-4 pax unless they take order of smaller...

Bad experience with the lady boss. The server sent us rice half full. We told the lady boss. She asked the server to send another three bowls of rice to top it up and said that was their standard amount. Sad, really. We have been eating here every few months for the last ten years. Of course we know what is the usual amount. But to reply the way she did shows that they do not value the business. No doubt business has thrived the last few years (harder to actually get a table during lunch), but that was completely uncalled for. Plus the food is getting more expensive each...
