Honestly, I did try my best to give a more positive review, a month ago, when I went for mutton fried rice, it wasnt that great, only because the smell of it meaty or "kauchi"( in Tamil) was stronger. It tasted empty, there's no flavour to it.

A month later I went back last night, I ordered chicken perattal fried rice, same thing, the waiter got my order for Bala's chicken wrong with onion pakoda, he brought the onion pakoda, honestly I wished I would have just ate the onion pakoda instead, I told him that was a wrong order, he took it back, within 45 seconds to 1 min, he brought Bala's chicken. I find it very suspicious that I could be done that fast, but the chicken was still hot, so I continued to want to eat it, to my disappointment, they served me a stale bad old chicken, it smelled so bad, I teared open each pieces to find a good one, to my disappointment there wasnt any. I didn't know until I truly finished off just one piece to be sure. Which I wished I didn't, I couldn't say a word, I paid up and left . Within an hour on the way back home I had a bad tummy ache and uncontrolled bowel. I'm sure this is an honest mistake, but I'm very sure you could tell a fresh and not fresh chicken apart. Don't serve your customers food you wouldn't serve...

I hope the owner who was present during my visit today evening takes this as constructive criticism. If i could give ZERO stars I would. We travelled from KL to try out Chutney box but was sorely dissappointed. My husband ordered ghee thosai and I plain thosai but what came was not good at all.

First of all, the simple order took more than 20 mins to arrive on our table and when my husband commented that the the ghee thosai looked very white, the waiter said he should have requested it to be garing. Even the taste of the thosai was not very good and dint feel like there was any ghee in it. I think the owner should visit a few other restaurants to do more market research.

for Drinks we had teh c and hot water. The teh c received was quarter spilt in the saucer it came in and was not very hot. Didn't seem like it was made fresh.

We also ordered the chicken peratal which was probably a 4/10.

Ghee Thosai - 0.5/10 Plain Thosai - 0.5/10 Teh c - 2/10 Hot water - 10/10 Chicken Peratal - 4/10

If I wasn't extremely hungry being diabetic I would have not even eaten the half of the thosai that I consumed. Heard about this restaurant from tik tok and sadly...

This was one of my dad’s fav spot. Use to come here often or buy back food, especially the nasi goreng chicken.

Came here today after a long time but it was a complete disaster. The fried rice was pathetic, tasteless. The chicken pieces in the rice was all boney. How do you eat chicken fried rice with boney chicken?? The fried fish looked like it was cut to half, not sure what happened to the other half. Loll. Point is, it was not worth RM10 so we returned it back. We also had to ask them to modify the fried rice but it was still very poor. Kothu paratha was OK but lacking the taste it use to have.

Sorry guys, from your comments to customers in the review section, it looks like you guys are trying to deliver BUT, sorry to say, your kitchen staff are not. The guy on the floor was polite. But kitchen staff are just lackadaisical and not at all passionate to cook their best for the customers. Nak gaji saja but...
