Visited early a.m. nice and breezy corner shop with a handful of regular patrons. The building is not inviting. But it's the inside that counts. Food is not bad. A handful of stalls, 8 or so. Patronised the chee cheong fun stall - surprisingly good and best value in this area, hands down. The char siew is freshly beoiled daily - available as early as 8am - and it's fantastic! Also had a cup of tea - reasonably priced. I returned later in the morning after a swim. Had some mixed rice. Really good value here. There's a bread and pastry stall out front - tried their loaf of bread baked in with ham and cheese; not bad at all. Salted egg French beans out of this world. Also has what I think is one of the best “ham yu fa lam po” in PJ. Fried egg with tomato also very tasty. Seafood tofu pretty decent.
