Had my lunch today 3/3/2024 at this place between 1pm to 1.40pm, being served coldly by the workers there. They even give us the menu that is not in available, when we order, only to mention, "it's only available on weekday". What's the point of giving us the menu that is not available on weekend?

Food is mediocre

The so called "captain" even hit my hand when I am eating, and not even apologise or turn head to look. With this such not sensitive and very arrogant captain, HOP kopitiam for sure cannot last long here.

When I wanted to pay my bill, there is no one there too. The captain just ignore me and I have to voice out and only lady comes to served me. After payment, I saw the captain talking bad about us behind my back. HELLO! I AM STILL THERE! DO NOT TALK BAD ABOUT CUSTOMER BEHIND THEM OR IN FRONT OF THEM. THIS IS NOT HOW YOU WORK OR SERVE CUSTOMERS.

Service is BAD

Do come here if you want to get angry or being served coldly by the workers there! Nice experience. This will be my first and last time coming here. And will loudly notify my friends and family, not to visit HOP...

See so many reviews in 10 days since the opening with majority being 5 stars rated. Die die must come and try. No come no know. Come Liao then I know why so many stars here. You get a free red bean dessert if you shows the waiter the 5 stars review on Google 😅

Parking is not an issue. A parking lot is right behind. Indoor aircond seating is limited and outdoor seating is quite hot at noon although there are 2 air-coolers. Interior design is HK feel and table setup is ok with enough walkway between tables. Service is great and polite.

Food wise is quite a disappointment especially walking in with 5 stars expectation. The google review rating is misleading. Ordered 2 sets and 4 side orders. Tried a total of 8 dishes and none of them leaves us a memorable impression except the cabbage scallop pork rib soup that is not bad. They are all precooked and frozen. Heat up when ordered. Some are not heated long enough as I still see the jelly form in the gravy.

Overall, this is more like an atas chap fan restaurant. Precooked, presentable food, comfortable environment. Btw, the fly is annoying me...

This pace serves set meals where you select 2 dishes from the list of items. Meat + Meat (B + B) RM23.90 Meat + Vege (B + A) RM18.90 Vege + Vege (A + A) RM15.90 When ordering sets, it comes with a drink and also either rice or porridge and a little side dish.

I had steamed egg with salted egg (A) + marmite chicken (B) with porridge. The steamed egg was done well but the salted egg sauce on top was quite unpalatable. It would have been better if the salted egg was steamed together with the egg. The marmite chicken has lots of batter and fat than meat, and the sauce very sweet. Porridge was well done. The side dish of fried bean curd (3 small pieces) and picked cucumber were very good. Wish I was given more.

There are a lot of variety of dishes so it's nice to come over for a quick meal for 1 or 2 person instead of going to a Chinese restaurant to...
