Disappointing Experience - 2/5

I last visited this establishment in May 2023 after discovering it through a Google search. Known for its buffet-style steamboat and grill, I had higher expectations, but unfortunately, my experience this time was quite underwhelming.

Atmosphere: 1/5 The environment was extremely uncomfortable—it felt unbearably hot inside, and the overall concept felt dull and uninviting.

Service: 2/5 The staff assist by setting up your grill and steamboat pot upon arrival, but after that, it’s entirely self-service. While functional, it didn’t leave much of an impression.

Food: 2/5 The selection was very limited. The variety of seafood, beef, chicken, vegetables, snacks, and even ice cream didn’t offer much in terms of options or quality.

Ice Cream: 1/5 The ice cream was disappointing—not cold enough, soft, and lacked flavor.

Drinks: 1/5 The drinks were overly sweet, making them quite difficult to enjoy.

Price: 1/5 The price has increased to RM37 per person, which, considering the experience and food quality, felt overpriced.

Parking: 3/5 Parking is available, but there were many instances of illegal street parking, which could be problematic.

Will I return? Unfortunately, with the price hike and lackluster experience, I’m not...

I mean it's only RM33/pax for an adult, eat all you can. Real old school buffet. Food is straightforward and simple, plenty of options. Price is very good for those looking to hang out with family or friends and makan together without spending on high budget. Every evening when I drive by after work, always see lots of people makan here, if you coming with big group suggest you contact the boss Mr. Ruzainie first to reserve your table. He's very friendly and helpful, always trying to accommodate our needs. I've came here few times with few different group of family and friends, quite ok. For me personally, I keep coming back because RM33/person in today's market, for Damansara location, really is not expensive. So wallet not pain, eat also no pressure, can relax and enjoy makan at my own pace & capacity without needing to try stuff my self until full to get back my money's worth. Thank you guys, keep up...

Tried: Buffet - Steamboat and Grill (RM29.00 Nett per adult)

Buffet food options were not bad. Refer to photos. Choice of Chicken or Tom Yum soup for steamboat. Unfortunately, none of the marinated meat tasted great on the grill. Food in the fridge were refilled promptly. Staff come by to change gas canister and top up soup when required. Desserts were a bit disappointing Self-serve drinks and ice cream included in buffet. As the table is not large, the heat from the steamboat and grill can make it quite warm. Option to sit outside. At RM29 per adult, good value for big eaters.
