I have visited your restaurant a few times before and found the food to be acceptable. However, during my recent visit, I had a very unpleasant experience. I ordered Nasi Lemak with Curry Chicken, and towards the end of my meal, I noticed something disturbing—there were bugs on my plate.
I immediately called one of the waitstaff to inform them. Shockingly, her only response was, “Do you want to replace the plate?” By that point, I was already feeling nauseous.
When I proceeded to pay, I informed the cashier and asked them to ensure better food hygiene in the future. Unfortunately, the cashier was completely unaware of my earlier complaint, which shows a lack of communication and concern from your staff.
In the end, I had to pay the full amount for a meal that made me physically ill—I even vomited afterwards. This experience was extremely disappointing and unacceptable.
I hope your management will take this matter seriously and take steps to improve food safety and...
Read moreOrdered the curry mee with added cockles , a kaya toast and their cham. Was left mildly disappointed by the quality of the food. Let’s start with the positives. The serving size is great , especially in the current economy. The kaya toast had a decent amount of butter and they weren’t stingy of the kaya either. The curry Mee had loads of ingredients ranging from fish cakes, to chicken and even an egg. However, taste wise, has a lot of improvement. The toast was fine, no main complaints. The Cham lacked body, and I guess the mixture was a little off, couldn’t exactly taste the tea. So kinda tasted like drinking a sweet frothy coffee. The curry mee was not great. Decent amount of santan flavour but nothing actually complimented the dish. Worst of all the onsen egg inside is sweet? Really threw my tastebuds off. Would definitely not recommend getting the extra egg. All in all, a decent place for breakfast but with the vast amount of cafes around, this is by far...
Read moreScroll through restaurants for some good breakfast spot, then saw this Lakopi randomly and decided to give it a try.
When I reached Lakopi, initially thought that this place must be very less customers, cannot feel the crowd and cheers from the outside at all. I was so wrong, when I opened the door, greeted by a totally opposite vibe, it gives a very welcoming and cozy feel.
Food were great. Toast and half boiled eggs are perfect. Simple yet flawless.
The bihun siam and fried chicken was nothing short of amazing, the fried chicken was flavorful packed with nice rempah seasoning. Good combination of savory chicken, bihun and the aromatic sambal.
The char kuey teow was good too, just that it doesn't have the siham otherwise great.
Overall, enjoyed myself here. Will...
