This Big Big Wantan Noodle Shop serves both dried wantan and soupy wantan noodles plus tomyam fried rice.Just as the name says, any request for big and bigger size wantan noodles requires the customers to top up the money. The normal portion isn't that big, but if you want to go big or large, you have to top up with extra money.A special caution to all customers, either dine in customers or take away customers, this shop simply DOESN'T ACCEPT ANY OTHER MEANS OF PAYMENT, EXCEPT HARD CASH. Once you walk into the shop and try to find a vacant seat or table, the next immediate you will discover that it says CASH TERM ONLY which is hand written on paper that is plastered all over the walls, from the front entrance of the shop towards the tail end of the shop. What the owner of the restaurant tries to tell us is that he/she only accepts CASH as Cash is King.I was caught out of surprise as I didn't bring enough hard cash with me when I dined in there at this shop and I had to go to Atria Shopping Gallery Mall to withdraw hard cash so that I could dine in there. In this day and age, where else can you find a restaurant or any eating food stalls that simply doesn't accept e-wallet payment at all. It's absurd and rather strange.Food is alright and the price is good considering the fact that you are dining in upbeat and expensive Damansara Jaya township. The toilet doesn't look pleasant (rather dirty as you can see from the attached pictures) and hopefully the owner will do something to the...

Well known to the locals for being one of the wallet friendly joints for a meal or take away. Most regular customers call in to order for take aways. They have another branch at uptown. Wonton mee taste decent, nothing to shout a bout, but portion are generous, they give 6 big size wonton too. Dont be fooled by their sign board, they sell a lot other ala carte chinese dishes too, which the portions are extremely generous for the price they charge. Mostly are rm8 per dish, if you dine in and dont order any fancy drinks, you would had checked out the joint with less than 10bucks, with a very full stomach. Some patrons in couple might even order their alacarte fried rice n share, but their fried rice are jus OK, laced with ajinomoto n lacking real "wok hei"... They are likely connected to the famous mingkei charsiew wonton mee. Their wonton mee, fried wonton and char siew are very very similar. Even their menu is in the same format... thou offering...

This restaurant is situated in Damansara Jaya area of Petaling Jaya.

The restaurant is popular.

The restaurant setup is simple.

The menu selections are reasonably wide. Rice and noodles dishes are served here. Their Wantan Noodles are springy and taste fantastic. Recommend to try out their Wantan Mee. Their rice dishes are good too.

Generally the standard of food preparations is good

Food portions are reasonable.

Simple drinks are available here.

Service is fast. Waiting time for food is reasonable too.

Cleanliness is acceptable.

Public washroom is available within the restaurant.

Prices are reasonable. Only cash is accepted here.

There are numerous roadside parkings available. A large carpark is also available within a nearby shopping mall. During peak hours, patience may be required but will definitely be rewarded with a parking space.

Handicapped patrons on wheelchairs can patronize this restaurant with...

As denoted by the name, this shop specialises in wan tan noodles. Having said that, they also have a variety of side dishes to accompany the noodles. Unfortunately, when we arrived it was rather late in the afternoon and it was the cook's off time, so some of the side dishes were not available. The place is non-assuming and simple but relatively clean. We ordered char siew wan tan noodles, which came with a bowl of wan tans. The noodles were qq and firm and the sauce flavourful. Best of all, the char siew were chunky and had a smokey rich aroma. The wan tons were average. We also ordered a plate of braised mushroom chicken feet and deep fried wan tons to accompany our mains. The braised mushroom chicken feet were nice and fall-off-the-bones type and the sauce delicous. The fried wan tons were petty average and could do with some prawns. Overall, a good meal to fill the stomach. Prices are also very reasonable.
