We experienced what we call bad service last week, which contributed to never going back again.
People have been cheated by their so called XO noodle because there's no XO in it at all. We gave a benefit of doubt that they might have forgotten so we asked them for a shot they said they can't give because they cook it with the fish. I may not be the best chef, but alcohol is normally added just before they serve the soup, otherwise it's obvious you won't taste anything. Even the person who drinks really little alcohol, tasted nothing at all.
We signalled and a staff came and asked us in a rude tone "apa you mau?" / "what you want?". We explained and asked them to add the XO shot and he said he can't. We signalled for the owner (the younger auntie), she said "We cannot add, it's like that" in the rudest tone ever and walked off. Both staff and boss also answered us in such horrid manner.
So yes, now they are cheating consumers, since there's no XO inside at all- which resulted to us being able to taste the fishy smell.
Other than the fish, please note that the pork belly is not authentic either, too much starch used and barely even taste the sauces at all. Clearly not a Hakka recipe. I've been eating good pork belly for life and this is just tasteless.
Guinness chicken wings and Claypot LSF were alright, no complains. Wanted to order more but none of us could stand that auntie being so rude to us. Overall price was alright, about RM20-25 per pax?
Complained on FB and they gave the most sarcastic comment ever, which also clearly shows how bad their customer service is.

Read moreI used to enjoy coming here occasionally, but this will probably be my last visit. It was quite a disappointment. I always ordered the claypot fish meat curry, which was previously satisfying and enough for two people to share. The price has increased from RM27 in the good old days to RM37 now, which would be acceptable if they had maintained their quality. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.
Firstly, the curry sauce was so little that it barely covered the fish. The amount of vegetables was reduced to about half of what it used to be. Worst of all, the fish was over-fried, not fresh, and dry/hard. To make things worse, the dish was cold—the fire meant to keep the claypot warm kept going out. When I asked for more curry gravy, the waiter informed me that this claypot dish is meant for one person.
If that’s the case, your price point should be reconsidered. All I ordered was the claypot curry and a drink (ice water only, nothing fancy), yet my bill came to around RM40. For a basic restaurant like this, RM40 for a weekday lunch is far too expensive. It would have been acceptable if the food tasted good, but you raised the price and cut the ingredients. I wish your business all the...
Read moreIf I can give this 0 stars I would. It is honestly the worst restaurant, I have no idea how it is still up and running. We weren’t allowed to sit where we wanted and were ushered to the side upon entering, which is ok as I can understand if it makes operational sense (which it didn’t) The foreign waiters were rude, didn’t understand our order even when we patiently explained.
The fish head noodles were TERRIBLE, so expensive and such a rip-off. The soup is so bland, watery, lukewarm and rotten. It was clumpy, and when we told the waiter about the soup and asked for it to be changed he dismissed us by saying “tak boleh tukar. kamu sudah makan” …. of course we’d have to taste it for it to be changed. We literally had a sip and a spoonful of noodles, and tasted the dry, paper-like PATHETIC 3 pieces of fried fish. Their “famous” fish head noodles is soooo fishy and has such a strong dirty oil taste. Any hawker centre’s fish head noodle is a million times better, and I won’t have to face disrespectful workers.
Customer service is non-existent. The management really needs to get a grip and take ALL the bad reviews seriously because we’ve single-handedly experienced all...
