Brass Cafe — Restaurant in Petaling Jaya

Attended a conference at Crystal Crown Hotel PJ and decide to have dinner at the Brass Cafe. Service was very slow and waiters were very unattentive and slow to take orders and there were not many customers. I ordered a Burger. I didn't mind so much the time it took to get the food but when I got it, the beef patty was raw so I sent it back. When the waiter came back with the burger, they didn't make it new! I was appalled that they have disassembled the burger, cooked the bitten patty and put it back together! Manhandled twice burger! This is what (pic attached) they had the nerve to serve! I asked for the manager but instead, another waiter came. When I explained to him he just went to the back and don't think he understood. Took me some time to get the F&B Manager, Yow Kien Chew to come over, He came over with his glass of orange juice. (Confused me for a moment, it wasn't for me) Why would you attend to a customer complain that leisurely?!?! I asked him if this is the hotel's policy and SOP dealing with rejected food? He couldn't answer but eventually he wanted to make me a new one. It is just too late! Wasted my time, I am hungry and now I am angry that they have the audacity to do that! In the end I just had to walk away hungry. Crystal Crown is not a lowly hotel, all hotel cafes charge a premium over cafes out there. I cannot accept this standards. If I get an upset tummy because of the one bite I have, I will be back with...

Rude staff, bad environment

This cafe doesn’t worth your time to visit and it is probably a dangerous zone. The whole cafe smells like gas. We confirmed with the staff and they said they smelled gas too. When we claimed that it could be leaked and they said that it is normal to smell that way. This is really dangerous and could cause explosion, so please check for leaking!!

Gas matter aside, they delayed our order for almost 45 minutes! The staff came to us to confirm what we ordered for twice and the manager joke about that this is their new menu so only one chef knows how to cook it..

We called to make reservation under ala carte menu for Sunday. The lady say okay. But when we are there, another staff told us now is buffet time, ala carte might need to wait for 1 hour. I am pissed. I feedback to the lady, If you cannot manage Ala carte, then shud just reject our reservation. Now is like forcing us to take buffet and we need to pay extra! And this is unfair.
