Been here for once and came for twice because their food and environment is really nice. Really suitable for friends gathering (especially group of 4) as well! I'm in love with this place 😍
Shephards pie 🌟🌟 Slowed cooked with Australian minced beef. This is really good! Come with an oven pan and topped with cheezy mashed potatoes. You will taste a sense of satisfaction when you eat it. With the oven pan, it allows to hold the heat and still ensure the shephards pie is still hot during our last bite 😋
Five My Way 👌🏻 Basically Big breakfast but you have a choice to choose which was rarely available in other cafes. Here, you may choose 5 items from the menu to customize your own big breakfast coming with two pieces of shokupan bread~ Everything was al dante 👌🏻
French toast 🌟🌟🌟 This is is must order!! Not just instagrammable, the french toast taste super good too! 🤩 Added with some cornflakes, it make the french toast more crunchy! On top with that, the dressing leveled up the whole dish 💯
Mushroom baked eggs 🌟 AKA Shasuka. Simple dish but super satisfied and fulfilling! Usually, the normal shashuka might be abit jelak to finish it. This is lighter and nicely paired with their shokupan bread 🍞
Pineapple Passion cold brew tea 🌟🌟🌟 One drink comes with two flavours 😮 A perfect drink no matter you are in what weather. Trust me, this is the first thing you must order here, no regrets! Tips: try the original taste at first, and then use your straw to poke the blueberries and mix it together.
Grapefruit Bourbon Wanna try something different and special so decided to go with this. Unfortunately, not a fan of this as the Grapefruit already has the tinge of bitterness. I guess pairing with alcohol doesn't make the experience more pleasant. But if you prefer alcoholic drinks, can still try it :) Note: contain alcohol.
Note: This place is famous for their shokupan bread, and the texture is super soft and sweet! 😋 Definitely a must order when you visit! 🚗 Might be a bit hard to find parking at that area, so do estimate extra...
Read moreWalked in here looking for a comfortable cafe whilst waiting for my mechanic to open. The cafe did not disappoint.
When the bell dinged at the pass, she immediately went to pick up and serve the food. This was in between taking orders, sweeping up and tidying the cafe. She never once stopped moving.
When I brought out my laptop to set it up, without me asking, she went and got, then offered me the WiFi password “in case you need it”.
When I ordered the Houjicha latte, before I could specify, she asked if I’d like sugar or no sugar with that. I have never been asked that before in any other cafe or restaurant; servers always automatically assume I want my latte with sugar.
I’m not generally a fan of scrambled eggs because they’re never done well, but I was looking for something vegetarian and light for breakfast, and these were great. The eggs were nice and fluffy, and didn’t taste too “eggy”, and weren’t leaching water onto the plate. The sourdough slice beneath was nicely toasted and the crust was easily to slice through. The mushrooms were perfectly seasoned and actually had flavour. Overall, it was a decently-sized portion and felt fairly priced.
Whilst I was dining there, I heard the staff very patiently deal with a finicky customer. The uncle walked in asking about rosti, and giving a bit of a long-winded story about how he doesn’t eat beef bacon so he only wants the rosti. They suggested chicken ham instead; the uncle repeated he doesn’t eat beef bacon. After confirming he only wanted the rosti, the staff told him how much it would cost and the uncle asked them to fry it “nice nice for him ah”. They replied, “Yes of course sir” and were sooooo patient with him throughout.
Honestly, this is a little gem of a cafe, and your server is a credit and...
Read moreAs a service crew/barista working in a busy cafe these are my opinion on this cafe bandit. First of all would be the service could’ve been way better, service crew were slow and uneducated on their own dishes, there wasn’t even much customers at that time I was dinning in but the service was still very slow. Second the food portion was very disappointing, the pasta I ordered was so little I could finish it in 2 bites, wasn’t expecting such small portions because the pictures shows otherwise, as a customer we dine in a restaurant expecting to be filled but it’s just filling me with disappointment rather than enjoying the food. Third I would like to comment a little about the drink I ordered, maybe their hojicha isn’t their speciality but it had more milk than anything overpowering the hojicha giving it almost no taste, but maybe the other coffees would be better I suppose. Another thing to note is that upon arrival no one brought me to my table even though I’ve made reservations beforehand, and before ordering I had no clue on whether to order from the cashier, QR or table service. In my opinion ordering via QR would be so convenient for customers and also service crew to avoid confusion and misunderstandings. But in the end of the day there are many aspects for this cafe to improve on for customers and staff, food taste alright but portion has to be bigger considering price factor. This is just my experience dining in Cafe Bandit, but who knows you may have a...
