Battle of Braised Duck Part 1
Only in operation when the sun starts to set, Fatty Duck is a crowd favourite in SS2 Station 8 Kopitiam. My last time eating here was n-years ago, so I want to relive the memory to see if it was as good as before.
When we arrived - we were stuck in the Friday night jam by the way - the boss said that they were almost sold out but still got some for us.
◾Braised duck & liver - maybe we were famished so we devoured everything.. the braised duck was soft & tender, but the liver tasted quite funky (not sure of the exact word but it was not foul tasting, just different). ◾Braised mushroom was always my choice as I love the earthiness of the fungi. ◾Side dishes - intestines had a bit of foul smell; salted vegetable was appetizing; braised beancurd and eggs were OK. ◾satay couldn't make the mark so don't bother to order from the stall. Meat was too lean and tough.

Known for their Teochew-styled braised duck rice, they also serve other side dishes such as braised tofu, braised pig intestine, Mui Choy, salted egg and others.
