Delicious Bake — Restaurant in Petaling Jaya

I made a last minute customized cake order on 3rd January 2021, around 9am and they informed me it will be done by 3pm. I assume the cake is freshly baked and made. The original price was RM55, in the end I paid RM45 because I've decided to collect it myself. I enjoyed the cake a lot! Didn't even miss the last bite! But my mum said it was quite sweet, well maybe you can highlight for less sweet when you order customized cake. Didn't know this bakery exist until then. The place is quite okay, operated by two old ladies. They sell other cakes, breads, pastry, mini macaroons and tarts here. Well, please don't expect service or friendliness from here. Aunties sometimes might forget, neglect or ignore service, they just spit out words they have in mind and act whatever they want to. My experience: I requested 10 big candles, they said no, 10 big candles means 100 years old. I said yes, my grandpa is 100 years old. Instead of just giving it to me, one of them said well it's not always a good thing to live until 100 years old. While the other lady told her it is not right to say so, that lady just defended herself and insisted that she was right. An absolutely horrible experience! Do order if only you are desperate and don't mind having stale and weird aftertaste. Ordered a whole lot of sausages buns at night through foodpanda for my daughters' breakfast the next day. The suspicion came about when my daughters could only finish 10% of it. Sausage buns are their ultimate favourites hence this is fishy. Took a bite and immediately detected that the buns are not fresh at all! Not one but all of them! Decided to drop by the bakery to make a complaint but the manager in charged was not present hence called her up instead. She was making all sorts of excuses defending that it is not her fault but pushing the blame to the delivery service instead. Only bakery in Chow Yang area, and not too bad. I've bought buns and puffs here several times and find that they are slightly better than RT or TK, seriously. I mean, if you're from the younger generation, you would think otherwise. But coming from 40+ years of buying buns and so on, Delicious Bake somehow manages to maintain the old flavour and quality.
