A friend recommended this place, so I decided to try it out. It’s easy to get there—just take the PJ04 bus from Taman Bahagia LRT station.
Atmosphere: 1/5
It’s a typical food court—hot, stuffy, and not very clean. Don’t expect much in terms of comfort, but the food makes up for it.
Service: 2/5
There’s no table service. You have to go to the stalls to order your food.
Food Highlights
Nasi Lemak Panas: 4/5 The Nasi Lemak Panas is well-known here, and I can see why. I ordered it with sotong, fried egg, and coconut rice—all for only RM10. The sambal was tasty but a bit too spicy for me. If you love spicy food, you’ll enjoy it.
Soup Kambing: 5/5 The Soup Kambing was the star of the meal. The broth was rich, thick, and full of flavor, and the mutton was tender and juicy. It’s a must-try! This dish also costs RM10, and it’s worth every cent.
Price: 3.5/5
The Nasi Lemak is very affordable, and most dishes here are reasonably priced.
Final Thoughts
Would I come back? Definitely, especially for the Soup Kambing. The food court opens after 5 PM, so it’s a good spot for a casual dinner. Just don’t expect a fancy or...
Read moreA true Malaysian halal mouth watering hawker centre, a buffet gastronomic delights for late dinner or supper at a fraction of cost. Seat where you like, order your favourite dishes especially the authetic and traditional nasi lemak daun pisang( wrapped in banana leave) which cost at a fraction and was heavenly satisfying of a simple meal, so delightful that you do not need add on but the fried chicken was equally tempting. My craving for Penang Laksa ( Malay version)which was full with fish broth top up with prawn paste gave a final blow to a good night meal which rekindled your hometown food. The food court was clean, well covered ,organized and parking was easy especially during night fall. Above all, this food court opened until early hours in the...
Read moreTypical medan selera. Been around for some time. Rather aged. Cleanliness is questionable. Quite popular during peak hours as affordable. Street side parking is available but still difficult.
Popular stalls would be the 2 nasi lemak ones (blue vs red) and a couple of sup kambing ones. Taste wise they are all decent. I get my sup kambing cravings here. Nasi lemak not so much anymore as feel it isn't as good as before the pandemic. Some other dishes you can get here would be typical mamak gorengs, satay & otak otak. They open either for lunch or...
