Have You Experienced A Lip Smackingly Good Meal?
First off, this is a review on their food delivery and not dine-in.
What tells Iberico Pork apart from the rest, mimicks the likes of Wagyu Beef. The secret lies in the marbling of the fats which should melt in the diner’s mouth emitting a buttery texture. How did this restaurant fare in a take away?
Service: We placed the order via a third party app which was pretty straight forward.
Packaging: The food arrived in ordinary plastic take-away boxes but they had their branding on a sticker which was a nice touch
Iberico Abanico (RM 54)
The meat was sliced evenly and melted to our delight in our mouths which we drowned in the accompanying brown sauce which had a touch of sweet. The fresh salad was crunchy and drizzled with a slight sour and refreshing salad dressing. The pickles gave a delightful crunch with each mouthful with the diced pineapples giving the dish its natural sweetness.
Recommended? We enjoyed nibbling into the juicy slices, paired with a glass of wine
Iberico Fried Hokkien Mee (RM 26)
Some argue that hokkien mee should have the “wok hei” flavour where as others might argue that a flavourful dish with a decent downpour of pork lard would do the trick. Although the dish did not have much “wok hei”, it was extremely flavourful and had a generous portion of pork lard. The noodles had a generous amount of source but wasn’t overpowering nor overly salty. In short, it was a delectable dish which was lip smackingly satisfying
Recommended? Although they did not have the local flavours that some might seek, then again, they specialise in Iberico Pork and not local delights. Hence, on that note, they have surpassed our expectations by far

They recommended the iconic Fried Hokkien Mee, and it was a gastronomic delight! It’s the best Hokkien Mee I’ve ever tasted, topped with a generous amount of Iberico pork lard—simply heavenly!
We also tried the Iberico Jowl, charcoal-BBQed with just the right touch of salt and pepper, allowing us to fully appreciate the refined flavor of the Iberico pork—truly delightful!
The Spare Ribs were expertly prepared, with a slightly crispy exterior and tender, fall-off-the-bone interior—finger-lickin' good!
The Bak Kut Teh was also a pleasant surprise. Slow-cooked in a clay pot with a rich blend of spices that infused deeply into the meat, it offered a mouthwatering flavour.
The grilled Satay made for a lovely side dish. Well-marinated, tender, and leaving a smoky note on the palate—perfect!
We paired our meal with the Citrus Salad, which came with Iberico’s own mix of salad dressing—refreshing!
Compliments to the Chefs for making our dining experience so memorable!
The Service Team was exceptionally warm and attentive. Their dedication was evident in their prompt and courteous service, always delivered with a smile. Impeccable service!
A special commendation to the lady Boss for her unwavering dedication to the restaurant and its patrons. The thoughtfully curated menu and her investment of energy in cultivating a welcoming atmosphere foster a true sense of community among her staff and guests.
Definitely will dine...
Read moreThe food portioning was a bit imbalanced. For a place serving ribs which is a communal food where everyone shares, it would make sense for the menu to offer other offerings that can be shared and not just single person servings. The quality of the food was also a bit patchy. The ribs were great especially the Original style but the pork jowl felt a bit tough and dry. Even on the plate, it can be patchy with the corn being tasteless but the salsa was good. The pork satay is really good. Absolutely tender and way better than the ones we had in Melaka recently. We had the hokkien noodles. While it is up to personal taste on how dry you want it to be, they were undeniably good.
Service was very good. I won't say they are first class (yet) but they are very eager to please. With a bit more finesse, they can become first class one day. By the way, they don't charge for service. So, please do tip them. I have not tip in Malaysia and Singapore for the longest time. In this case, I think they truly deserved it.
Overall, I think it is a place worth trying especially if you love pork. Be prepared to pay a little more for Iberico pork. They don't come cheap and if you know what is Iberico pork then I think you can appreciate it enough to pay a little more. I would give them a rating between 4 and 4.5. The difference being in the...
