Lim Fried Chicken has been a beloved part of my life for over 20 years, and visiting their SS2 outlet brought back fond memories. The space is bright, clean, and comfortably modern, making it a pleasant place to enjoy a hearty meal.
The service here is friendly and prompt, which is always a plus when you’re craving something delicious. Prices remain affordable, making this spot a great option for a satisfying meal without breaking the bank.
I ordered the LFC Drumstick with rice and vegetables, and upgraded with their Signature Milk Tea, while my wife chose the LFC Signature Whole Leg set. The fried chicken, freshly made with a golden, crispy coating, was as delectable as ever—juicy and tender inside with a satisfying crunch outside. It paired perfectly with a side of sambal and curry sauce, which added a flavorful kick to the meal. The fried cabbage was crispy and fresh, though the rice was slightly soggy this time.
Parking can be a bit of a challenge, especially during peak times and weekends, so plan accordingly. But once you’re inside, the delicious food and welcoming service make it all worth it.
For a taste of nostalgia and great fried chicken, Lim Fried Chicken SS2 is a solid choice.
Sun 13 Jun 2021 This is a newer branch of LFC outlet in SS2. We dropped by here today to order takeaway as no dine-in or interdistrict travel is allowed. The set up is typical of local fast food eatery. Only takeaway are permitted for FMCO. We ordered the signature LFC rice set for dinner later. The service is courteous and attentive. Prices are slightly higher than normal but it's worth the quality. Parking was easy because of...

DETAILED REVIEW:
Are YOU in the market for some CHOW at CHEAP PRICES? Lim Fried Chicken (or also known by its sorry-not-sorry lynch-esque abbreviated moniker "LFC") gotchu covered fam.
Seriously, there's something honourable about a place that decides to feed you a fried chicken thigh AND and a fried chicken drumstick AND rice AND a side of stir-fried vegetables with the price of RM 12–15 (varies depending on other add ons you pick).
So the good? The fried chicken has one of the most crispy skin that I've tasted. It's not overly greasy, and the flesh remains juicy inside. I'm only sad that the fried chicken ain't those types with a heavy battered coating, but that's just my preference. Shame too that the chicken coating comes with a completely forgettable seasoning (was there even an effort made to season it?). But that crisp though...hmmm...
LFC's generous portions coupled with its affordability means you can't really complain about it too much. Yeah, it's not gourmet, or even homecooked style; it's just something quick and reasonably tasty to satisfy your appetite and move on to other things. Sometimes you need a pragmatic solution to nourish you without breaking your budget, and LFC fits that bill...

Atmosphere: 4/5 The restaurant offers a fully air-conditioned space with a variety of seating options, though outdoor seating is not available. The ambiance is pleasant and comfortable.
Food: 4/5 I ordered the Nasi Lemak with a whole leg and a drink for RM18.90. The rice was incredibly aromatic—you could smell it before even taking a bite. The sambal was on the sweeter side but had a mild spicy kick. The fried chicken was impressive, served hot and crispy despite the restaurant being quiet at the time, with crunchy, flavorful skin. I also tried the Lo Han Guo with 30% ice and 70% drink, and it was excellent. They offer a wide variety of other menu options as well.
Service: 4/5 The ordering process is very efficient—you simply scan the QR code at your table to place your order. My food arrived within 5 minutes, which I found to be excellent service.
Price: 3/5 For RM18.90 (excluding the 6% tax), the meal was reasonably priced given the portion and quality.
Parking: 3/5 Parking availability depends on the time of day. It can be tough to find a spot during lunch or dinner hours, but between 3 PM and 6 PM, there’s usually plenty of parking.
Will I return? Absolutely, 100%!
Last to mentioned I keep seeing 4.44pm what...
