Kafe Ipoh Kopitiam in New Town PJ stands like a quiet invitation, a promise of simple joys and hearty meals. It’s new, yes, but it already feels like an old friend, bringing the flavors of tradition to a bustling town. A halal sanctuary for those seeking comfort in kopitiam-style offerings, it greets you warmly, with smiles as rich as the aroma of its dishes.

Breakfast here is a love letter to the morning—generous portions, good quality, and flavors that linger long after the last bite. The mee kari, oh, it tells a story all its own, with a depth of spice and creaminess that feels like a hug from someone who knows just what you need. The staff, kind and attentive, move with an ease that speaks of care, serving not just food but an experience.

The prices won’t leave your wallet weeping, and the ambiance is just right—cozy yet spacious, with an air that whispers calm amid the city’s rush. But oh, the parking! Managed by MBPJ, it demands its dues, and spaces are as rare as quiet in a storm. Yet even this inconvenience fades when you’re inside, cradling a warm cup and savoring a meal that feels like home.

Kafe Ipoh Kopitiam isn’t just a place to eat—it’s a moment, a mood, a melody of flavors that hums quietly in your heart. It’s new, yes, but it’s already...

This used to be a great local Kopitiam but of late the quality of its menu has somewhat dropped.

The service quality is passable, except for the lady owner of this place, who can be surly and borderline rude depending on her mood. She takes long time, regular customers for granted and frequently forgets to thank them when they pay at the counter.

Unless you're in for a quick bite, I wouldn't recommend to eat here from 8:30pm onwards as their kitchen closes at 8:45 pm leaving you with a very limited choice from its menu.

This place is crowded during lunch hours only because Ipoh Kopitiam has no other competition like it in the vicinity, that's all.

Note that this eatery doesn't have a separate wash basin, so you'll have to go to its lavatory to clean your hands. The problem is that the same toilet is also used by its staff for dish washing - therefore if you're a cleanliness freak, you may want to skip using...

Actually when Some1 is so polite we won't be able to complaint..so I informed the crew that the food are contaminated with too much oil. Service wise they were 2 ladies did it to the level of satisfaction. However food they need more improvement. When any1 ordering just be sure to remark /remind them of less oil for goreng2. This outlet previously was at PJ seks 14.. Even there the drink was not good. I mistook that this is their new branch.. This is a relocated branch.. Their wantan soup, wantan was really nice and the soup was oily again. Nasi goreng the oil stain was too visible to the plate. I have to let this know here so the kitchen crew will be trained well on handling ingredients.. Service was...

Food: (Halal) Claypot noodle, fried rice, fried noodle, chicken soup, sizzling noodle, nasi lemak, cendol, curry noodle, local coffee, tea, variety of drinks. Drinks come with a large mug. Ambiance: Air-conditioned, good for families, kids Price: RM7 and above for rice/noodle. There is no SST charges. Service: Waitress will take order and serve thr food. You will pay at the counter. Overall: This is a restaurant has been around for quite some time and owned by Chinese but have most Malay employees. In these days where race is a sensitive statement, I would say this is owned by a Malaysian and patron by Malaysians. Its a muhibbah restaurant. Food and drink wise are ok but it allowed for call to take order as well.
