Mido — Restaurant in Petaling Jaya

Totally ban this restaurant. Come in four hungry diner but leave as disappointed diner. The moment of disappointed started when the side dish get served. As said by other diner. Five star rating here is just for sake of a piece of free chicken or kimchi pancake.

From the photo of the side dish. These is the amount serve for four people. Menu say free vegetable refill and we are only give 6 salad leaves. Can you wash the salad nicely also? Ask for more as we have four person here but the explanation from the staff say “if come 10 people also serve the same amount” Since is side dish then don’t argue so much. But come on, kimchi side dish is from one tiny cut. How much are you gonna lose here from a side dish of kimchi? You have the budget to hire a robot named “PUDU” but don’t want to give more kimchi?

But the problem is with the meat. Ask for kitchen grill because we are hungry and thinking kitchen grill faster. But we waited for one hour for our meat and there is only two customer group while we dine in. The explanation from staff is that there is customer before us order a lot of meat and take time to grill. They say if want fast, why don’t we grill ourself? But before we change to kitchen grill, the raw meat for us to grill has not even served after waiting for 30 minutes.

I can’t believe I come into Korea bbq restaurants to be fill full with vegetable...

We went there for lunch due to the lunch promo. The food as shown in the photo are Pork Collar Sweet Sauce Set and Kimchi Soup Rice. We ordered 2 hot green tea too, total price is RM43.80. The food are tasty and environment is cozy during lunch time. They got this cute food delivery machine to minimise contact for the dishes to be delivered to our table. They got membership registration via contact number and voucher redemption for the next visit too. One little thing I would want to mention... We (2 persons) chose the side table which fits 4 persons. 1 of the staff invited us to the other "big table". They said it's for 5 to 6 persons but we saw it only fits 4. Right beside the "big table" there are already 2 customers there. So due to social distance, the staff took away the "Reserved" plate from another "big table" on the left and asked us to be seated. Ya they put "Reserved" plate on the so called "big table", but upon leaving there are no customers sitting around also. Then... After we are seated, another staff came to tell us it's reserved so by right we cannot sit there. Err... What the hell ? Can you guys communicate among each other ? Lol... In the end, she let us to continue sitting as we were. But the feeling is a little disturbed...

Visited this place yesterday night with friends, extremely bad experience.

Food - unsatisfying portion, normal

Environment - quiet nice but a bit small

Service? (main point) Staff keep ignoring customer even though is just in front of you. Pretending like they're very busy but just standing over there keep looking here and there and end up do nothing. There's a girl with specs told us some information about the members thingy, rude and impatient. We notice that there's a promo if you're having birthday on the month so we asked for more details. After we done the instruction, trying to get the attention from staff but ya kena ignored even though we made an eye contact with them. A robot is serving us dishes but keep stopping near behind my friend seats, so ya he need to turn around carefully and stand up to get the dishes (to be improve). Charge taxes but do nothing.

The only one who are great was the host outside, friendly and helpful.

There's no any reason for us to visit here again.

Requesting people to rate you five stars to get a free pancake can't change anything. So please fix the...
