So I was just minding my own business, walking toward the restroom at this cafe, not rushing, not cutting in line, just peacefully heading in that direction. As I walked past a staff member (a not skinny not fat Muslim girl with bold makeup), she was walking behind me the whole time. Important detail: I didn’t cut in front of her. At all.
The moment she noticed I was going into the restroom, she made an impressively loud “Tsk!” sound, loud enough that even with a good meter of space between us, I heard it clearly. When I turned around, she casually walked away like nothing happened. Then, as soon as I stepped out, she swooped right in after me.
So let me get this straight: the staff gets mad at customers for… using the toilet first? Should I have asked her permission first? Written a formal request? Or maybe scheduled a toilet slot in advance?
Honestly, I came here for a tea, not for passive-aggressive performance art by the restroom door!

Read moreI’d like to share some feedback regarding a recent visit. The service took quite a long time, and I observed that Puteri’s behavior toward Irfan was noticeably unpleasant. She ignored his requests, responded rudely, and was visibly upset—throwing utensils loudly into the sink, which created a very negative atmosphere. Service is extremely to slow, horrible experience.
I kindly suggest advising staff to maintain respectful and professional interactions with one another, especially when working in customer-facing roles. Since Puteri is in charge of preparing drinks, her unhappy demeanor could potentially affect the quality and consistency of what is usually one of our favorite parts of visiting.

Read moreWent for a take away this morning. Ordered the new on menu, Lapsang Souchong Black and my regular favourite Jasmine green tea both in large. Both without sugar which is my thing. The new flavour does not stand up. Milk is overpowering. Won’t recommend. Now, the service. I was a bit too engaged on my phone conversation while waiting for the drinks to be readied. I did not realised the crew was calling me until some other customer waving at me. The girlie crew at the back of the counter bust into laughter and continue mocking until I left the shop. This is very rude indeed. I am from service department as well. If a customer in my state the right act is walked up to her with the take away since there’s NO other order to prepare at that time and at least 4 crew members behind the counter.
