Newly opened.
Well this place's layout is obviously designed to cater to maximize crowd and profit. Tables and chairs are very small. Mostly can squeeze up to 4 people.
This place doesn't use the QR code ordering. Which I really really really like. Waitress/ server is friendly and can talk in malay.
Foreign labor everywhere except for the leads/supervisor. I guess this is the sad reality we have to get used to now.
Ordered their XO spicy noodle which is just wanton mee with chili sauce. Liked the noodle. Firm, but springy and chewy. Al dente. Char siew default cuts is very fatty...taste so so. Won't recommend. Wanton is big and full of fillings. Taste great!
Price is a bit expensive for it's quality..wanton Rm9 for 4 pieces.. and noodle is like 16. Good that they don't have additional charge like service charge and sst add on top of final price.
Provided tissues and cutleries at table.
Takes credit card in future. They are setting up the machine.
Decent place, only wantons are great, but pricey. Maybe won't return for...
Read moreAnother Chicken rice shop. Good thing I like chicken rice. Which I rate based on rice , chicken and condiments. Rice is average , could be better by using better rice. Not that greasy , cooked just nice but could do with being more flavorful. Not the type where you could just eat it by its own. But it’s not bad in any sense , just not great. The poached chicken is good. Tender without being dry. Only one condiment that they have - chilli sauce. A bit too Sourish, low heat level. Barely there garlic and has no ginger in it. Would be ok if they had another continent like ginger sauce or ginger/scallion sauce but they don’t. The roast pork is good too. As good as the expensive version in Jln Pudu.
Overall, I would still return due to their very awesome Bamboo noodles and excellent poached chicken. The bamboo noodles is their star dish. Perfectly al-dente and at the perfect thickness. You must order this if...
Read moreYesterday I was cruising along the streets in SS2 when I stumbled across quite a newly opened chicken rice shop. Actually I was thinking about what to eat for dinner. Since I came across this shop, I stopped by to buy some chicken rice as dinner for my family. From the outside, the shop looked new, bright n clean. The barbecued meat such as char Siew n roasted pork looked yummy. So are the steamed chicken n roasted chicken too. I sat down n ordered 3 pax of chicken rice with a roasted chicken thigh each plus some roasted pork for all the 3 boxes. The chicken rice was still warm when I reached home n so were the roasted pork n roasted chicken. The roasted chicken tasted average but the roasted pork was great! The meat was very tasty n the skin was absolutely crunchy. It was marvelous! I will buy that again. The price was reasonable too . The total bill for 3 pax was slightly more than RM 46. We enjoyed our...
