Parking available at the front of the centre, RM5 if i didnt remember wrongly. Else there is yellow box parking if you can find space, else just go further down there is also yellow box parking (free on Sunday).
It's located inside of PJ Palms Sport Centre, head inside and walk towards the left and you will see Out of Africa.
Seating available outside beside the pool and inside, there is also inside inside-Kudu Bar. If you prefer more quiet setting Kudu Bar has lesser people inside as everyone else is crowding the outer area. We sat in Kudu Bar, we got the whole table to ourself and soon one or two tables left the whole bar was only us.
Cappuccino (rm10); it does taste like cappuccino but the cheaper kind. Thats how my sis describe it lol. I guess not those grinded beans at cafes.
The Hawaiian Large-Turkey Ham & Pineapple (rm32); yummy.
The Fishersmans Regular-Spicy prawns, mussels, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes (rm28); yummy, i prefer this more than The Hawaiian but both are good.

Read moreThis place is part of a complex of entertainment outlets, some of which have been around for over 20 years. The Out of Africa Restaurant is a rustic restaurant (seriously rustic when you see their tables) serving a sort of 'South African cuisine. I say sort of, since you will not find any of the more exotic meats here. The place is decorated more to African style than the menu. But having said that, the food is relatively good anyway. And reasonably priced. The Kudu Bar is a separate (but part of and within) the restaurant. Again, it's a typical bar (drinks and food wise) but very African in decor. There seems to be a bunch of regulars who frequent this place. The staff are attentive and the atmosphere vibrant. Lots of sports on TV and especially Rugby. The drinks are reasonably priced. The bar owners also host the local rugby matches it seems.
The entire place could do with some refurbishment.
I would give this place (restaurant & Bar) a 3.5 instead of a 3, but the rating system does not offer...

We came on a Saturday night and it was full, however there was a party happening outside. We sat indoors which is the aircon room. It is nicely decorated. Do make reservations to be safe. The waiters are very friendly, but can see that they do forget to bring something when we asked. I think it’s because it was a full house and had their hands full. For food we ordered Peri Chicken, Lamb Curry, oxtail soup, Johannes Burger, lamb Pie and a sausage dish (forgot the name). The Portion is big. Taste wise, it is slightly bland, like not enough salt. It’s probably just me, i do like my food slightly salty. If you do want to bring kids, there is a playground outside for kids to play. There is also a kids menu, so do ask them for that. If you do plan to have a party here, I would really recommend this place. Great place to...
