It seems that if u enter any SR outlet, none of the staff will bother to greet u and show u to your table. The outlets looked understaffed, and staff seem oblivious to your presence. So if u happen to be in the know, you'd take any table u fancy whereupon the staff comes to hand u your menu. Or u could make a mistake, like me, of placing an order at the counter, with the staff being under the impression that u want a takeaway. In any case, u had to wait for what seemed like decades for something as simple as mushroom soup. And if u had ordered dessert, like an ice cream, it would arrive together with the food, inappropriately. I had to tell the staff to keep the ice cream till I'd finished my soup. The lychee drink I had contained enough sugar to ensure both my legs were amputated by the end of the meal. I then tried a cake, which happened to let me down with its indifference. It was neither good nor bad, just indifferent,which any decent foodie will tell u is a fate much worse than either. I fared better with the mini Hokkaido cheese tarts, which were quite decent although I'd probably suggest ppl to avoid the ordinary and salted caramel ones, and go instead for the chocolate ones, covered in peanuts. The place was undermanned, obviously with one staff busy doing the baking leaving the other to attend to u. After this somewhat irregular experience, I thought SR had indeed come down...
Read moreDears...iam writing this review after having a very BAD experience at this outlet. I ordered a Birthday cake for my son who is turning 6 years. The order was placed 4 days ahead. they took the details and my contact number. when i reached for the collection date they did not had the cake which i ordered. When i asked they provided many reasons, at the end they said it was 3pm collection time, but i was very clear to ask during placing the order. they promised i can come anytime after 3pm until closure. they also did not have the concern to call me and check. This has put me into lot of dilemma what customer service do they do...very lethargic in work & does not know the value of customer service at anytime. At the end they said they can get the cake from another outlet but i did not had the time to wait there....so went to other outlet in person and collected it. This OUTLET is something seriously Secret recipe management needs to check whether the sales persons are treating the customers with right attitude or even they do not want to serve customers at anypoint. Read moreI visited this store today 25.05.2025 afternoon to enquire about their birthday special, but I was truly disappointed with the customer service. When I asked about the promotion, the staff responded in a very rude and condescending manner, questioning me instead of helping: “Dah download apps? So macamana tahu ada birthday special?”. I was honestly speechless. I didn’t come in demanding anything or trying to get a free cake just for the sake of it. I simply wanted to find out more and maybe join the hype, like many others do.
