Food is decent, better than most random BKT stalls that you wil find in most coffee shops. Price is ridiculous though. One small plate of braised fish that is mostly all bones is about RM100? A bowl of BKT that will cost RM60 elsewhere for that portion is also ~RM100 here? Ridiculous. It's not THAT good. We could have eaten at a fancy Chinese restaurant where a waiter pours your tea for you at these prices. Yet we're in a dingy old coffee shop with poor service.

1 star cos of the pricing. Should have known something was wrong when there is no menu or prices stated anywhere. Will never repeat. Will actually tell my friends to avoid. Go to Klang instead.

Edit: You had plenty of chances to explain the bill when you gave us our receipt back than. You didn't, and we're not coming back just to get an answer. The lady who took our order refused to tell us how much the braised fish will cost when we asked and beat around the bush. We wondered about that reluctance. Well, now we know. If she had told us up front just how much the order would cost, we likely wouldn't have ordered it at all. You say your fish head is RM22? Well, that's not what we were charged. If want to imply you served us 5 portions, that's laughable considering how little of it we each...

If you are looking fix your bak kut teh crave , DO NOT come to this place.

I am not sure if this is universal but personally I feel any bak kut teh place should at least allow reasonable refill (~ 3 times )without additional charges.

They are charging for RM23 for 1 pax portion without any refill. The portion is not generous and with this pricing I feel asking for refill is not unacceptable.

My visit - I order small portion of BKT and stewed pork trotters, taste wise is average. The BKT soup has the herb flavor which is my cup of TEH. However, I experienced serious buyer remorse when they told me refill has additional charges. If I had known this better I would have gone to yip Yong BKT just same row.

Service wise , ntg much except feeling rushed by the lady boss.

this is strictly personal, come here and try once if u are willing to pay or don’t mind...

First and last time here. Overpriced and Lousiest BKT ever in Klang Valley. Everything is chargeable but food is lousy! Literally diluted empty clay pot with soup with some meat ONLY!!! Nothing in the soup, unlike other stalls which may have some enoki or tofu skin. Added on for Fu chuk which didn’t know it costed RM10! Prices not properly displayed on board. U can cook better with store bought sachet, seriously!

Further. We were discriminated!! Apparently Yau Char Kuey was sold out, but everyone had theirs served…

Missed my order at served at least 3-4 tables after. Arrived earlier than the crowd…. When asked, lady boss was rude and unfriendly.

For RM60 (2pax + Fuchuk + soft drink) for two? Don’t go to such hot and dirty restaurant.

Go to the fancy cafe next door, with air conditioning, free water, nice ambiance and excellent...

As a foodie, I prefer not to read their google review before I try out their food. I am aware that prices have gone up since covid but the portion served is really so pathetic and its not even look like it can be served for 2 pax(bah kut teh soup) Rm46. The bah kut teh soup is kosong, dont even have tau fu pok and the soup taste very sweet(probably many MSG). The lady finger is at Rm9 so you can calculate it as rm0.90 for a small bite of it. The stewed pork leg comes in a very small bowl at rm23. This can be the most expensive bah kut teh I ever tried and highly not recommend to anyone to try it. Well you can tell the older a restaurant it is, the smarter they are in making PROFIT... Highly recommend people to go to meat in claypot at Bandar utama centre point. Generous portion served and good environment with reasonable price.

This place is the neighbourhood's bakkutteh place and has been around for two decades or more. First of all, food is great. The pork is flavourful and the soup has a very clear, smooth taste of medicinal-pork goodness that goes easy on your throat. Seatings are comfortable with many fans circulating the air around. Lighting is bright, promotes appetite. Price is appropriate, I'd say reasonable. Have been visiting this place a few times and often times if you visit at odd hours or slightly later than rush hour, there's a high chance of their pork being understock or sold out. Some frequent disappointments by this made them lost a star from me. So plan ahead if you've decided to try this neighbourhood's classic bakkutteh experience.
