I am here for my late lunch and to do some work. The is a foreign lady worker here (I'm guessing the same rude lady in the previous comment). My order was for RM37.50 and I accidentally paid RM37 via Grab. She just stood there and said "37.50." So I asked her, "how much have I paid and how much left do I have to pay?" She said "37." So, I paid another RM37 thinking I have already paid only "RM0.50" only (should have checked). Then realizing that I have paid almost double, I asked for a refund, she refused and said "cannot!" Showed her Grab Pay is a smart Ap and there is a refund procedure. She insisted that I buy another meal. Now, why would I want to buy another meal when there is a simple procedure for a quick refund and me paying another RM0.50 to top up. I asked for her manager and another worker asked to help. As I was explaining she keeps talking i a loud voice (I guess you can hear across the mall). I told her to shut up a few times as her high pitch voice was annoying me and most probably the other customers there. Then another worker came and they talked in their own language, and I explained again. Then the guy actually called the manager and the refund was done in less than a minute. So I told her, "See? It's that simple!" She then kept talking in her language in still a loud voice. The other worker asked if I wanted to dine here to which I responded "unfortunately, yes" and smiled. He then served me my order. She kept ranting for whatever reason and I just sit here and write a review for you sharing my worst experience here and any outlet to date. However, the 1 star is give to the other 2 staff (one who just started yesterday) and the other guy who called the manager for a...
Read moreHad one of the worst experiences ever at this Starling Mall branch. Redeemed a promotional offer from Grab for the RM1 salad. When I asked the foreign lady at the counter what salads were included in the offer, she simply said "no choose, you sit down, we serve you" and then proceeds to scan the bar code on my phone. Now this annoyed me because the branch at Paradigm Mall allowed me to "build" my own salad so why the inconsistency? But the worse was yet to come. I was served the worst salad I have ever tasted. Overly sour sauce with chicken that did not taste fresh. I get that you are trying to promote your brand via promotional offers but you could at least serve something that is equivalent to your real menu. This doesn't give a good impression at all to customer who have never eaten there. Will never visit again. Go visit La Juiceria and learn how to run a salad bar. By the way, I am not a La Juiceria employee but I am impressed with their standards of food...
Read moreI eat at Salad Atelier at least 2-3 times a week at Nu Sentral, and previously at least once a week at Intermark, and 4-5 times a week previously at AirAsia RedQ. I've always gone back because to Salad Atelier because it's always consistent, the price is fair, and the portion comes in a good size. I also like the variety and the staff are usually generally efficient and helpful. The biggest disappointment I've ever had is at the Starling outlet. I understand that the outlet is smaller than their other outlets and the staff there are very limited by the lack of space, but I find it very unhygienic when rubbish is all over the floor and around the space, especially at a place that serves raw vegetables. I'll still visit other Salad Atelier outlets, but this one is really a bad representation...
