Super Kitchen Chilli Pan Mee @SS2 — Restaurant in Petaling Jaya

Had lunch in this restaurant on Sunday 24th November 2024 and notice that there is cigarette butt on my food. I confronted the waiter about this and wanted to speak to the manager or supervisor and surprisingly there is NO one there that I can speak to, and waiter is unable to make any decisions and all they can do is gave me the number of the person in charge.

After confronting the person in charge with pictures provided, the only solution given is token of RM100 as apologies, on top of that they mentioned that they will stop sourcing from the supplier, and tighten the quality control measure ensuring the highest food safety standards and so on.

After I have replied them asking why there is no person in charge such as supervisor, or manager during the incident happened, and would asked if the waiter checked the ingredients before preparing the food for consumers and as well as SOPs in preparing the food. Sadly, there is no response from them for 24 hours and so.

This should be taken seriously as cigarettes butts are toxic, especially now it is found in my food.

This restaurant is part of a chain of restaurants. Their restaurants are mainly located in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur. They have a store in Singapore too.

Simple set up restaurant.

Their pan mee and other noodles are unique. Their signature dish the chilly pan mee "dry" is nice. Their meat balls tasted good too.

Their drinks are fairly unique.

Their prices are fair and reasonable. Cash transactions only.

Their cleanliness is good.

Services are good and fast.

Parkings are roadside parking lots. Some parking spaces are available in the nearby housing estate. During peak hours, many have difficulty finding space to park.

Handicapped patrons on wheelchairs may have difficulty patronising this restaurant.

25-10-2023 : Business operations back to normal. Prices had increased but still competitive. Food qualities and portions maintained. Still a good place to dine.

26-06-2024 : Enjoyed a nice small bowl of Curry Noodles. Portion was adequate Their Feet Fried Fu Chuk matched the Curry Noodles well.

Bad experience. Whole restaurant manage like foreigner market.

The restaurant hire all FOREIGNER staff. No management in the restaurant. The whole restaurant look like handle and manage by rude foreigner.

Order slow. Call for service, the staff style look like not willing to assist.

Tried the curry noodle and Chilli Pan noodle not nice at all. Totally different taste with other branch.

Staffs are chiting chat together, playing between each other nearby cashier area.

During payment, due to less change. I would like to partial amount pay by cash and partial amount pay using touch n go. The cashier holding my cash at his hand and keep pressing on tab for 2-3mins. Hence, I pay directly pay the balance using touch n go and want to go off first. After that, the staff SCOLD me.

This kind of restaurant, no second time. So many choices outside.

To the restaurant owner, if you intend to do business in service line and not going to handle yourself. Please at least hire a supervisor to supervise the business. These kind of service, will ruin the...
