I used to come here in 2019 as I have classes over the weekend in the nearby area. As i returned again here in 2024, some changes took place. The service time has gotten bad, slower and not to mentioned the Indonesian waiter always makes a fuss during order. Overheard a few customers order being commented such as “saya nak telur mata tapi taknak telur goyang” and her response was “tu bukan telur mata, tu telur goreng” was rude to me. Also as we ordered masala tea, she informed that the fresh milk was not available so we’re okay with alternative (UHT, any other milk) buy she responded “we only use fresh milk” whereas the day before we just ordered the same with just other milk and fine with it. Hope Syed Bistro management will look into this behavior. Or train them better. Customer may not be always right, but have the rights to be treated with courtesy. Also, it took 10 minutes to deliver 1 Roti Canai with only 10 tables occupied during our time. Not recommend if you’re in a morning rush.

Nice halal and muslim friendly suitable for all class customers. Food is tasty and drinky is averagely acceptable. Curry mutton and chicken are tasty. Traditional Apom and Nasi Beriani is marvelous. Price varies (bout RM 90.00 for four persons.) (Please note Parking is not free and please park at designated parking to avoid summon or towing. Night road side parking is free) Will revisit again. Hopefully Nizam can add some fancy dishes such as Taufu Bergedil, Soup Gear Box,etc.😂.

This place is heaven. The food is delicious, the service is good, the staff always smile at you, but when it's late in the evening, the staff are probably tired so you may see them in sour face and their performance may let you down to the extent that they got me the wrong food that I ordered. It's usually pack with people but you will always get a seat. There's small toilet and surau in the underground. It's not 24 hour because It closes at 4am-6am for cleaning.
