Similarly, the Ayam Goreng (fried chicken) was spot on, with a crispy exterior and moist, flavorful meat. It's worth noting that both dishes are best enjoyed when fresh, as the textures and flavors tend to diminish upon reheating.

No Indonesian Nasi Padang experience would be complete without the inclusion of green chili, and Restaurant Sederhana didn't disappoint. Very simple tables and chairs in air-conditioned settings. No frills, large windows looking out. Indeed "sederhana". But prices of some items are expensive. RM4 for a plate of white rice. RM5 for teh ais, limau ais. Was asked by the young lady if we wanted gravy and what type. Why yes, thank you, so kind to offer ☺️ but.....shocked the bill arrived charging RM1.50 for small plate of thin curry gravy. Thought it was generously offered on the house, lol. Orders were taken right upon entering and there is a very simple menu on the counter. I advise that you ask to see the entire menu before proceeding to simply order everything haha

When we arrived around 3pm, not all the dishes were out. Lots of newly cooked dishes appeared after we finished.

Yummy food though portions are small. beef dendeng basah RM9, sotong RM13 per piece was tiny but gravy was well done, terung with 3 little petai - yummy, potato+ quails egg was very filling and tasty. Ikan keli at RM9 each wasn't so fresh. Hati was hard.

There is a 6% service charge. Water is free. Total...

The best Nasi Padang place. They served the food on a small plate for each lauk. The portion for each plate is good enough for one person. For me, my favourite lauk will be, gulai tunjang. My all time favourite lauk for nasi padang. The tunjang @ kikil, is very soft and chewy. But today, chicken rendang is quite salty for me and have a bit bulu ayam there. But, not a problem. Daging rendang is quite hard, still can chew but the bumbu is the best !

I recommend this restaurant to my family since I have eaten from this restaurant food before but only through delivery. So, I have never been to the restaurant. Today, I went with my family and they are all satisfied. Dan kena dengan tekak.

Parking is not a problem, you can park inside the building area or you can park under the flyover. Very convenient and easy.
