The Beer Factory SS2 — Restaurant in Petaling Jaya

Very rude waiter! I’m not sure he is the supervisor or what, is a foreigner staff who take order from us, I don’t have his name. Once we reached he gave us the menu, while we discussing what to order, he suddenly snatched all the menu away with his impatiently face, we stop him n said we want order now, so he take our order n sounds very rude too. Later on, one of our friend ordered an earl grey tea, another waiter serve it and ask the foreigner staff who to serve the tea, and the foreigner staff pointed at my friend and said “this fellow”, seriously this is the first time I heard a waiter talked like that. We ordered 6 mugs of beer, only 1 mug served, not sure is the foreigner staff make a mistake or how, he suddenly came to my friend n snatched the receipts which put under his wallet without asking any permission, my friend told him is not that receipt he looking for, he just ignore and continue search, we all so shocked with his behaviour, how can someone touch people’s wallet without asking?! This is so ridiculous and super rude!! Then when we finish our beer, he wanted to collect the mug also without saying excuse me, he just like squeezing in take the mug n leave. Only this foreigner staff act like this, others is fine, this is not the first time we visit this outlet, last time we had good memories here, we had very bad experience this time, hope your service...

A good place for some cold beers and conversation. Music isn't too loud. Only annoyance are the people soliciting for donations... more than 3 regular old people, cripples etc. Staff friendly, helpful and nice. Food...we have eaten the keropok, porky fries etc...all good when washed down with cold beer.

The above was my earlier review but last night... TBF SS2 was a disappointment. The staff are inattentive, the aircond isn't cold or not working, the porky fries are bitter and over fried, the ice cubes are small and melt fast... it was a bad experience resulting in our group deciding to avoid TBF SS2 hereafter.

We wave for service repeatedly and sometimes the staff wave back but go elsewhere resulting in annoyance on our part. I had to whistle to get attention and the staff who eventually came over barked like a dog... implying sarcasm to me that I was whistling for a dog... too much lansiness and attitude for a regular customer like me to take.

Hereafter, I will go elsewhere with my friends to have our drinks... our options are plentiful especially when an establishment DGAF about being polite to clients...

The main issue was the extremely slow service during lunchtime. My food took over an hour to arrive, despite there being only a few tables occupied at the time.

While I understand that restaurants can get busy and delays can happen, it was disappointing to see such a slow service when the restaurant was not even half full. The staff didn't seem to be in a hurry to take orders or prepare the food, and there was no explanation or apology given for the delay.

When the food finally arrived, it was satisfactory, but nothing extraordinary. It was definitely not worth the long wait. Overall, I was disappointed with my experience at this restaurant and would not recommend it, at least not during...
