Food may be above average but the service by the young tall bespectacled girl was terrible. Not a smile as if we came for free food. Absolutely no customer service. Waitress started clearing our table at 9.10pm even though we had not finished the food on the table. 1 person was still actively eating! The bill was presented 5 mins later by the bespectacled girl and the waitress came again to clear the table. We told her we had not finished eating. Bespectacled girl (presumably daughter of owner/chef) waved her hand at waitress to stop but was unapologetic. We asked what time they are closing as it is still early. She patted her chest and stated matter of factly and with an indignant face that she is hokkien (tonight being 8th day of CNY). Least they could do was to inform us earlier, before ordering our food, that they intend to close earlier tonight. We would have no problem with that. Instead, we were literally being kicked out. Dined there yesterday and ordered calamansi sour plum (D8) and was served a green drink that tasted sour plum. However when we paid, we discovered that we were charged the price of juice, though there is no juice on the menu. The waitress said that it is a new drink and not yet on the menu. The boss said that we should have raised alarm when we received the drink. But the drink is green and tasted like sour plum. Who would think that it is juice when it didn't look like juice at all! They refused to refund the difference in price and all they said was we would get a refund if we dine there again. So everyone, be careful when you dine there. My family and I recently had dinner at Twin Brother Seafood for their Chinese New Year menu and we were thoroughly impressed! The meal was simply delicious, and the cozy atmosphere made it an enjoyable dining experience. The portions were huge, ensuring that we were all fully satisfied by the end of the meal. We ordered the Yee Sang, Shark fin soup, steamed fish, prawns, chicken, and finished off with a longan soup for dessert.
