I believe this chicken rice shop originated from Kepong. Saw it in socmed a lot but place was too far. Glad they open branch here near to my working place.

Ordered whole chicken thigh rice with golden egg and ice lemon tea. The chicken are smooth and taste good with their soy sauce. The chilies sauce is nice with good sourness and spice amount. Very well balance on that. The ginger mix wise was average. Served also with refillable pickle which are ok. Rice are average good but for the price paid the chicken amount consider small.

Golden egg was nice. Perfectly done onsen egg. The ice lemon tea are so so. For the service it was very fast. Once ordered the food arrived less than 5 minutes. What I don’t like is that the feeling they give is very rushing. Once completed my food they already start cleaning up the table. I always left my drink at last to enjoy while streaming videos. But since they cleaned up the table and I was sipping my drink, the waiters keep looking at the order sheet maybe they wonder why my food not yet come but after check they know everything is out. It give me perception that once I done I need to hurry leave to give seat for others. So, this part I don’t like.

Went there on a Saturday morning with my husband around 10.30am. They served only hor fun, the chicken rice was not ready yet. I had the dry chicken hor fun while my husband had the dry curry chicken hor fun.

The portions were slightly small. My dry chicken hor fun was very simple yet pretty enjoyable. The gooey egg yolk elevated the hor fun so I’d recommend topping your hor fun with one. The curry hor fun though was very nice. It tasted more to Nyonya laksa kinda flavours, maybe because they used lemongrass. Good choice for a light breakfast.

The environment was clean and comfortable with some vintage kopitiam interior. The young man at the cashier whom I suppose is the owner was very friendly and smiley. The setup of the restaurant is simple and air conditioned. A comfortable dining environment to dine.

Their menu is relatively wide. The Smooth Chicken is good and recommended. Golden Eggs is unique qnd recommended too Dry Curry Noodles and Scallop Noodles are great too.

Food portions are reasonable.

Usual kopitiam drinks are served.

Prices are slightly above usual. Overall with the comfortable dining environment and good food, it is worth paying for the slight difference.
