I visited this restaurant for the first time in May and was disappointed to find it closed the following month. I thought it had closed for good. However, last month I was delighted to discover that it had reopened. The owner had returned from China, and now they're back in business! That's a YAY!!! I must say, everything I had there was incredibly delicious. The portions are very generous, and the prices are reasonable. Do yourself a favor and visit this hidden gem located in Seksyen 14, PJ.
What we had : Xinjiang spicy chicken with noodle -small Rm41 Spicy and delicious. A must-try! The chicken was generously portioned and packed with flavor, with a tantalizing blend of hot spices that kept me wanting more. The combination of spicy chicken and the thick, broad hand-pulled noodles makes it a standout.
Spicy rice noodle Rm14 *The smooth, wonderfully chewy, and bouncy texture of the rice noodles combined with the hot and spicy soup,oh so delicious...
Cumin lamb with noodles -small Rm37 *This cumin lamb dish is an irresistible flavor bomb, generous and tender lamb cubes perfectly coated in spices that explode with flavor in every bite. Absolutely addictive!
Chicken and mushroom dumpling Rm 14 *The dumplings were delicious, with a perfectly balanced thin skin and a juicy, tasty, and flavorful filling that will leave you craving for more.
I can't wait to go back and try everything...
Read moreThis is a no frills makan place with superb food. Basics. Table, plastic chairs, wooden chopsticks. Worn out plastic menus. You have to order the famous spicy chicken noodles. It's aromatic, enough spicy, chicken absorbs all the flavour and the springy wide faced pulled noodle adds that chewy texture to the whole consumption experience. I would come.back here for this anytime. I made a call earlier on the day to make a booking for 5.30pm. Unfortunately when we were there alot of dishes finished. We managed the dumplings, chicken noodles only. It was good for us. 3 of us coated rm91. Middle sized chicken noodle, add on noodles, a pancake and dumplings...
Read moreI don’t usually fancy mala because of what it does to you taste buds and don’t have a high tolerance for spicy food but this was the first time that I enjoyed it. There is spice for sure but the numbness was surprisingly bearable. Although I caution that it differs for individual.
The spicy chicken was fragrant. You can add on the noodle portion into the dish. Love the noodles’ texture. Mutton was prepared the same way and those were the tastiest Napa cabbage I’ve tried. Not sure what seasoning they used but very tasty!
Come for the food but tolerate the atmosphere of it being in a house. Avoid peak hours. We waited 20 mins the 2nd time we visited. The place is a favourite of many mainland China customers so we found ourselves in China on Sunday cz we were there only 2...
