Summer Point — Restaurant in Pulau Redang

The restaurant open 630pm until 1230am. We reach the restaurant around 10pm...so we ordered our food. Then the waiter said the chef went to dinner, all of us have to wait for the chef.

We patiently waited for the chef to return, only to discover that he came back at 10:30 PM and started preparing our food. This entire episode left us baffled and frustrated. It is incomprehensible to me why a restaurant with operating hours until 12:30 AM would allow its chef to go out for dinner at such a critical time, causing undue delay and inconvenience to the patrons.

they should have second chef to cover up during other chef break time.

I strongly urge you to consider revising your restaurant's operating hours to a more realistic time frame, such as 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM, or list down your break time. It is not only misleading but also highly unprofessional to have customers wait for the chef to finish his dinner before their orders can be fulfilled.

Rude front desk person. As soon as we stepped in & called the person to inquire on the pricing & deals , immediately with a bad attitude he responded that we are not open. When we explained that we are not there to dine in as of yet & asking the prices, his response was its all in the front look at it yourself. Any questions that were asked were replied in a rude and unfriendly manner.

No respect for the customers & definitely not recommended. Also, price ranges for the food & drinks are high.

Took this complaint to the main desk of the hotel as they are parked under the same management. Got an apology from the main hotel desk & not from the restaurant. Avoid at all cost unless you would prefer your night...

It's a bar and restaurant, located exactly besides the reception of Redang beach resort, beautiful beach view especially at midnight,they have a outdoor seating and covered dining area,the concept of the live music band is great but they just played and sings Chinese songs, alcoholic beverages are available but not hot coffee or tea,if you want to drink your own wine or beer,you have to pay a small amount of money for that,the French fries are too good here in reasonable price, the menu is just simple and good,don't get mind if the music...
