Honest Review: 3D2N Stay at Delima Resort, Perhentian Island||I went with 4 families (9 adults and 5 children) for a 3-day, 2-night free and easy trip at Delima Resort. We booked 4 rooms with the following rates:| • Adult: RM370| • Children (2–12 years): RM110| • Infant: RM80||I had read several reviews beforehand, so I kept my expectations realistic.||⸻||Location & Access|The resort is about a 10–15 minute walk to Long Beach via a walking trail. It’s conveniently located near the jetty, but the beach in front of the resort is rocky and not suitable for swimming. However, there’s a beautiful sandy beach on the right side of the resort, though you’ll need to walk past a waste disposal area to get there.||⸻||Arrival & Service|Upon arriving at the jetty, our bags were carried to the reception counter. However, guests must carry their own luggage to the rooms, which can be challenging especially when walking on sand with big bags. Same goes for check-out.||We were upgraded to a better room for free since the triple room we booked was full — thank you, Delima Resort!|The boat schedule and itinerary were provided in advance, the boat arrived on time, and we were also allowed early check-in.||⸻||Room Amenities|We stayed in a room for 4 people (2 queen beds):| • Mattresses were very comfortable, though the bed sheet was a bit sandy — expected on an island.| • Basic shampoo and shower gel (50ml) were provided — just enough for a 2-night stay.| • Bathroom was very clean, with no grout and strong water pressure.| • Hot water wasn’t very hot, but acceptable.| • No toilet paper was provided, so be sure to bring your own.| • No kettle in the room, but one can be requested from reception.| • Filtered water is available at the dining hall.| • The room had 4 plug points, but they were placed high on the wall, making them difficult to use with short cables. Bringing an extension cord is highly recommended, especially if using multiple devices or a CPAP machine.||⸻||Meals|The package included 3 buffet meals per day.| • The food was tasty and full of flavour, perfect for Asian tastes.| • Be sure to arrive early at the dining hall, as early guests tend to take more food than needed.| • Food is refilled, but the replenishment is rather slow.| • European guests might find the taste less familiar — depends on personal preference.||⸻||Staff & Cleanliness|Staff at the counter and cleaning crew were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming — truly one of the highlights of the stay.||⸻||Conclusion|Despite a few small inconveniences, our stay at Delima Resort was pleasant and worth the price. It’s a great choice for group or family getaways. I would definitely consider...

overall trip: employees & lifeguard: friendly, helpful, hardworking
environment & surroundings: employees sweeps the dry leaves in the morning
peaceful (by the way, there were monkeys in the morning🙈🙉🙊)
weather: sunny except for morning day 2, drizzling but snorkeling is permittable
wifi: we think wifi is available at dining hall but never asked for password as we use our own network data & it was quite fast (internet network substation is nearby)
Delima was not crowded unlike Long Beach, so we had good time, relaxed ourselves & a peaceful mind. Great value for people who are looking for peace & quiet.
bugs & insects are expected as it is an island (mainland does have them too 😅) we share this planet with them 😁
Thank you Natasya...
