G2 Kopitiam — Restaurant in Sabah

They have 2 lots adjacent to each other. Open daily from 6.30am to 4.30 EXCEPT on Tuesday. There are variety of cuisine to be chosen from but from my observation visitors tends to go for faster prepared food like kon low noodle with char sau or sau nyuk toppings. They also serve dim sum. One particular dish that i like is their seafood pawn sauce noodle. If there are just a few patrons then your order can come in within 5 minutes for kon low noodle or in about 8 minutes for food that requires cooking on fire. But if during the time they are packed with customers, be prepare to get your orders even after 30 minutes! Over all i would say the food as acceptable nothing much to shout about, customer service wise i would give them a C grade...

Came to eat during CNY. First of all, the staff (or the boss) didn't feel like they wanted to serve us at all, there's no chair there and we have to take by ourselves. But that's ok, even though they didn't seem busy though. When the staff wanted to take the order, he told us that some of the ingredients are not available (impatiently). That was also fine. What made us really upset was we waited for 1.5 hours, other customers came aftet us got their food first and was told that they finished other ingredients after waited so long. So ends up we had to eat what they already cooked. Even though we waited so long, there's no apologies or whatsoever. And most importantly, the food tasted bad. First and the last time to eat...

I couldn't give better rating after 10 times I dine here. So, this how it's look like...

-Price increase more.....but the Food quantity dropped! Used to have half hard boiled. Now, gone.

-Sometimes they give plain soup without asking. So I would say standard is dropping. (Ask if u want)

-Drinks also expensive.

-Waiting time depending on peak hours. You'll have to wait longer during busy. ( Sometimes I wait till 1hour for 2-3 dishes)

boss are friendly.

U may try here if you haven't. But for me whom dine alot... I'm dining somewhere else now. I did go here but I make it the 3rd choice.. Not the 1st when I go kepayan. Cheers. 😊
