Upon arrival, don't forget to display your parking coupon before exiting your car.

The restaurant is quite spacious, suitable for family.

Didn't wait long before our food and drink arrived on our table.

We ordered the normal Ngiu Chap. I personally think that the ngiu chap portion was big and had plentiful of meatball, meat, tendon, and so on. The meat, tendon, etc. were tender and I didn't have trouble chewing them. The mee hoon also in big portion. The soup was mild and not too thick. The price for the food and drink also affordable. I spent RM9.50 for a bowl of ngiu chap & a glass of chinese teh ping.

Easy payment - can pay using Boost.

Extra point for the utensils soaked in hot water. I personally like restaurants/café which do that without being asked by the customer first.

Rarely give such a low rating. But i am utterly disappointed by their beef noodle (ngiu chap) here as compared to their original shop in lido.

The soup which is the essence of beef noodle is very bland. It tastes like the cheap roadside soto daging. I can only taste the very strong spicy ginger or turmeric. It doesn’t have that savoury and fragrant flavour of a good beef noodle. Very disappointing. I felt like their original shop at lido serves much much better beef noodles.

However, beef portion is pretty generous. And their fish noodle soup is unexpectedly tasty.

Hopefully it will be better in my next...

Possibly one of the best in KK.

A lesser known name however they have been serving quality beef noodles for generations.

This is a branch, original outlet is in Lido.

Konlau is much better and compliments the soup giving the meal a different dimension to what you normally find elsewhere.

Soup base is a similar form to the Menggatal soup base but make no mistake, Cheng Wah soup clearly has its own distinctive flavour profile. It is more Peppery and doesnt try to be too sweet.

The meat cuts are well prepared. Tender and carry lots of flavour. Well done.

Highly recommend. The best beef noodles in Sabah. No second choice, Only one.
