Today we had Ramadhan Buffet there as walk in guest and was offered discounted price at RM88 nett / pax (Usual price RM108 nett).. Firstly my review about the interior and ambience was nice but was kinda warm, may be due to the open concept with the hotel lobby. My advice is choose a table which is near to the cooler fan. The exterior was kinda urban concept which looks kinda like a deserted or unfinished building with the red bricks as their building wall. Now, we talk about the food. Well, am kinda having high expectations as the looks from their advertisement was very tempting and looks delicious with the menu offered. Unfortunately and sadly to say that was disappointed. The buffet line wasn't having much choice compare to the normal price offered. The taste wasn't as expected (sorry to say). The only dish that can consider OK was the daging dendeng (similar to Rendang Daging).. The meat was tender and soft. The Sambal Prawn was overcooked but taste still OK. They serve Oxtail Soup but unfortunately can't find any oxtail inside the pot and the taste of the soup was like normal mee soto taste. (Felt cheated) The varieties of Sambal.. None looks tasty and I tasted 2 types which is the Sambal Hijau and Sambal tomato (taste blend) Then we move on to the so-called International menu which is the roasted lamb.. Well, it's another disappointment as the mint sauce wasn't thick nor tasty. There are 2 types of sausages which is OK but nothing to shout about. Beside the stall, they serve the "Apam Balik" and wasn't crunchy nor thin type. Next we move to the BBQ section.. They had Satay chicken and beef to choose (slow in cooking coz went twice but the tray was empty) Finally the 3rd attempt, we manage to grab some chicken satay. To my dismay, it's not tender. (Even the Bazaar Ramadhan serves better) and the Nasi impit taste ok, soft but kinda break off (still acceptable) The they serve the BBQ chicken wings.. Disappointed as well.. But the most disappointment was the BBQ stingray which wasn't well cooked (still raw in the inner part of the meat) Again felt disappointed. We notified their waitress and she was kind enough to bring us another well cooked piece but unfortunately we declined as near to end of our meal. A big Thank You for her initiative and service (didn't get her name) As for their dessert, they had the chocolate fountain which came with Marshmallow, watermelon and cakes to dip with. They also serves ice-cream with 3 flavours (Chocolate, Vanilla and Strawberry) Drinks - there are 6 types of cold drinks and 4 types of hot drinks, apart from the ABC (DIY). The only drink that consider good was the "Leng Chi kang" as that's the only drink we refilled 3 times with a big bowl as finale. Their dessert failure was the so-called "Beancurd with Longan" which tasteless as they use the evaporated milk as base. Should be soya milk as base or almond milk but maybe they kinda change their style/taste but failed. Next was the Sea coconut... Disaster as they put Goji Berry instead of white fungus which taste a bit sourness rather than sweetness as it's supposed to be. Overall : Food : Not so good (not as expected) Ambience : Nice and relaxing even though kinda warm Service : Good To return again : Sorry, don't think so unless they improve the taste or different chef, maybe.
