Based on my visit, Alchemist Cafe is a home-based cafe with a cozy living room-style setup. The cafe itself is an additional room attached to the owner’s house, creating personal atmosphere. There are some seating options outside, but the area isn’t well-maintained, and the heat makes it less comfortable. I dropped by around 2 PM while waiting for my daughter, but unfortunately, the place wasn’t ready to receive visitors. It seemed like the owner and their friends were having a private meeting or gathering. This was unexpected, as I assumed the cafe would be open to customers during regular hours. Seating is quite limited, which might be fine for a small number of visitors. Parking is also limited but seems sufficient given the space constraints. Since I didn’t get the chance to order, I can’t comment on the food or drinks. However, upon entering, I was surprised by the setup, It didn’t give off the typical cafe vibe at all. Overall, Alchemist Cafe may have potential, but it seems more like a private space than a fully functional cafe.

Cozy and warm - the new Alchemist's Cafe is location at the shortcut next to the Damai Community Hall cutting out to Sunny Garden, vice versa. At the side of the road, you'll see the signboard of the cafe at the balcony in the middle of the compound. With seating capacity of less than a group of 6, the cafe encourage visitors to spending time and exchanging stories. If you prefer to have a quiet time, there are seating area downstairs with a rain view of purple flowers while enjoying your cuppa. I've tried the local Ham Chim Piang, a cuppa Hot Chocolate, and an Iced cold Green Tea Espresso Latte (must try). Friendly staffs, you'll be sure to have a good company.

My food rating are based on drinks only. If you’re are coffee lover you can drop by and get their drinks. This place also offered “non-coffee” drinks. Food like pastries will only be made upon request from customers. Staff is friendly and welcoming, you can even request custom coffee if you would like to try other drinks apart what they have on their the menu. You can even request for custom drinks made by the staff if you would like to try other mix of drinks apart from what’s in their menu.
