*Edited on 25/10/2022 Been a somewhat 'loyal' customer cuz the service & environment. Been hanging around even before renovation & after renovation. Some of the foods are good, but yeah. Most of them are expensive. Suppose we're paying for the renovation fee as well. Now that the price for everything went up all over Malaysia it's the same for them too. Just in my opinion if the price went up but the taste & portion stays the same, I would definitely keep coming. My recent visit here was like few weeks ago, then last few days. For example the prawn or chicken portion in the noodles used to be 4pcs, then reduced to 3pcs, then 2pcs.. sad bah haha Overall in terms of foods I'd suggest the Fish Sauce beehoon especially, & most of the stir fried foods are good. I personally like to order the beef kuih tiau and wan tan hor. They are famous for their kopi ping & kopi o ping and now they have many more varieties. Other foods are just ok-ok, not too bad but it's a one time order only (for me!). The porridge and ngiu chap is not bad also especially if you're craving for a light tasting foods. Feeling sick but still wanna makan begitu bah then nda habis haha. The nasi goreng kampung portion for me is the biggest portion, although this is quite some time ago. Their rice dishes are not so consistent in terms of taste & flavor. This is according to my friends because our bunch used to come here almost every night back then. Those who always order the same rice dishes, well when we talk about going makan here that was what they say la ba. Atmosphere wise ,yeah cool place to chill. All their branch is like that.

Here’s a nice review you could use for Kopi Ping Damai based on what you shared: ⸻ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great Spot at Kopi Ping Damai Kopi Ping Damai is definitely a place worth visiting! I ordered Wantan Ho and it was absolutely delicious — the prawns were fresh and given in a generous amount, which really made the dish stand out. The flavors are rich, comforting, and very satisfying. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, perfect for enjoying a good meal with family or friends. Service is also quick and friendly, which makes the dining experience even better. The only small downside is the parking, which can be a bit challenging at times. But honestly, the quality of food more than makes up for it. Highly recommend Kopi Ping Damai if you’re in the area and looking for tasty, hearty meals!

I had the fish sauce beehoon while mom had the hainanese chicken rice. The portion was huge for the beehoon while you're better off going somewhere else for the chicken rice. The taste was ok. The only thing that was impressive of the fish was the fresh seafood they used. Service was meh. I find it irritating that you have to ask for the accompanying condiments each single time while I found out that those condiments are suppose to be readily available at all times on the table. Oh and they charge RM0.90 for a glass of water!! The whole experience was meh and I wouldn't come back to this place in the future.

Have been a patron since the opening of the restaurant since 2011 when there were no aircond back then. Food was absolutely good back in the days before the aircond era comes in, the portion is nice and tastes good. But the food quality gradually decreased into absolute dog water quality when multiple branches started to open across Sabah. It's sad for me to see how owner is prioritising more income over the quality control of the products provided. I know Ingredients' prices are also increasing, so it's reasonable to raise up your costs, but at least maintain the quality of the food, HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED if you're looking for spending your money worth here. Go somewhere else and you'll have better experience.

*Ps for the owner: please , I'm begging you to reassess your food quality, I've been a big fan of your restaurant since 2011 when there were no aircond back then. I'm hoping to see...

Kopi Ping has their own signature milk coffee which comes in a bottle. The restaurant is a nice place to spend time with office mates during lunch hour and feel a little classy eating some chinese cooking dishes which you can get elsewhere (with a cheaper rate).

Kopi Ping offers food in an air-conditioned room and provides many ways-you-can-digitally-pay-for-your-food.

To say the food is average is an understatement. Kopi Ping has signature dishes that people often re-visit the place to get a bite of the same dishes over and over and over again.

Many business meetings takes place here because Kopi Ping is one of the easiest landmark in Damai for people to meet up with the people working in the hundreds of offices around this area. Because.. again.. i repeat.. it's a little bit more classy eating here compared to...
